I wrote a Hub earlier, for a different account, and when I was editing a text capsule, the tutorial video at the bottom right was overlapping into the text capsule, making it a little difficult to scroll. This was earlier this morning and my computer is old, so don't know if things have changed or also if it's just my computer. Anyway, thought I'd let you know.

Hi NateB, I've noticed the same thing and my computer is new, so I don't think it's that your computer is old. (Oldies are goodies sometimes!) I think they need to re-think how far it juts over into the Hub. Just wanted you to know you're not the only one experiencing this. :-)

Thanks, Nancy. Glad to know it's not just me. I think you're right, placement of the video maybe could be adjusted. I think the video is a really good idea, just that relatively small matter of it getting in the way of capsules. I was able to still edit the capsule, but it was difficult to scroll in the capsule because of the video getting in the way.

This issue should now be fixed.
Thanks for letting us know and for your patience.

The videos take time to settle it seems. They do not do it right away in edit mode, I have entered and minimized them and seen them overlap, left or right. In normal view they are in frame.
Try clicking "Done editing" and then going right back into edit and see if it is still doing it, or look at it in Preview and see if the videos are "in frame".

Hi, Kevin. I think you misunderstood. I am talking about a tutorial video that is in the Hub tool; it's for Hubbers to watch so that they understand how to use the Hub tool. It overlaps into a capsule during editing.

I take it you are publishing video Hub? I have never done that.

No. When you are using the Hub Tool to create a Hub, on the right side there are a bunch of features; where you can arrange capsules, add capsules, etc. At the bottom of all those features they now have a video that you can watch that is about the Hub Tool. What is happening is, when we edit a capsule, the video overlaps onto the capsule.

Oh. Like I said I have never used that but it sounds like the same thing it sometimes does in a regular Hub too.

I've seen it too and it's really frustrating. Doesn't matter if the hub is new or if it's old and I'm just editing. When the neighboring video ghosts into the text box I'm editing it's distracting and often obstructive. I'm disappointed HP hasn't dealt with it by now.
