How do I advertise my blog so more people read it and it shows up faster in Google searches?
Many people share their articles on FB and Twitter, and pin their pictures on Pinterest. If you want more organic search traffic from Google, the Learning Center has some tips on SEO (search engine optimization) for complete noobies. (Not sure how much you already may know.) See for example http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/How- … ndly-Title
You can write articles on sites that allow you to link back, but be sure you follow their rules, Google + is a site that you could use, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Stumbleupon, Reddit, etc. Blog on Blogger and use Wordpress etc. etc.
The most important thing is to keep content original and do not duplicate it in entirety, rewrite it in a different way or just use extracts always showing why they (the reader) may want to read the whole original post. Try to answer a need or create curiosity/interest for more.
