Hey Hubberville,
Just found this article about a Nurse who WON a decision against the IRS in court.
This could be very helpful for those who are in college?
Just thought people should know about it.

I don't know....but I think it might be worth looking to. I found it on the main page of Yahoo.
Thought it was interesting and I remembered there are quite a few people on HubPages who attend college.
Sounds like she was already working in the field of her major, which is why she qualified. "work-related tuition"
All you could do is ask your tax accountant, but you probably have to be working in the field of your degree in order to be able to count your tuition as a deduction. It probably also depends on how she was paying her tuition- cash, scholarship, loan, grant, etc. I didn't see that in the article.
Thanks for posting. Maybe for my Masters in Medical Science??
My boyfriend gets tuition reimbursement from his job because he is working towards a degree in the field he works in. I think that is a great program that more employers should consider.
I will probably be relying on a Graduate Assistant position

What do you think about allowing college students to carry firearms on campus?Even though I agree with the right to bare arms, I do not think we need to go back to the Wild Wild West. I can see it now, who is the fastest gun on campus. To cut down on rapes and violence, we need more...
