This is going to be pretty creative (I hope)
This thread is to post what topics you would like to start a forum on. Maybe you hesitated, backed out, were intimidated, scared of being banned. Whatever.
My forum poll indicated hubbers wanted more interesting topics. So let's create some. Then we can create some based on feedback.
NO RULES. ANYTHING GOES.
Mine; Do you get excited when someone stares at you?
Yes, they can be lame too
How 'bout athlete's foot?
Now THAT's a topic I've never heard discussed around here!
Can we have a whine forum thread...I miss my husband & I wish we were in Cali with him now!
Why is Jay Leno so un-funny? Craig Ferguson is the best late-night talk show host.
Start a thread: It's time to ban the religion forum...
Less religion threads would be great, it only causes war..Maybe a thread about sharing feelings, if we feel sad or happy, and what makes us feel that way and why.
Someone took me up on that suggestion...not me, I swear.
Uninvited Writer, you seem to hold muuuuch power! LOL
....Would you please hint that someone make a thread suggesting the deletion of that thread about what "makes girls good in bed" or some such foolishness?
Actually I'm joking; just going along with the topic of this thread....
...hey I ....MIGHT...just make a thread callin' for it myself. hmmmm
hint hint hint to anyone anyone anyone.....
Hey lets start a thread on religion LOL LOL LOL couldn't help myself.
seriously I like the idea posted earlier about what makes us sad, happy etc.
ooooooooooor what is the one thing we are most afraid of and why.
How about a thread to raise money to pay for me to live in a nursing home in Aruba?
Years ago on a local bbs, there used to be a forum called "irritated and irrational". Obviously it was just a bunch of people ranting and raving about things - but, the forum had one rule: Nothing could be serious.
So, if you wanted to rant about the president, you couldn't speak about anything major, or if you did, there had to be something completely silly about it.
"I hate Obama!", would get you banned.
"I hate that big purple oozing zit on Obama's head!", well, that was just fine.
or, "I hate how psychics as you for your name, should they already KNOW that?".. Yup, good stuff.
I think I was addicted to that forum for awhile.. but, like all local bbs's, it went the way of 300 baud modems and DOS.

I was just curious. I have not seen a lot of hubbers that have been here at Hubpages for over two years..perhaps they are too busy hubbing away!

There are a lot of us who haven't been feeling safe on the forums. They've felt stalked, harassed and browbeaten.Sadly, some folks go with the letter of the law, but not the spirit of it in their posts. For an excellent...

I have noticed that an increasing number of people seem to have joined this site merely to spam religion on the forum. This would be okay if it was not for the fact that this is a forum for writers, not theists.I am all...

I'm seeing ever such a lot of old threads resurrected in the forum of late. It's not just tedious - it also runs the risk of spreading misinformation (i.e. things have moved on).Can HubPages not introduce a rule along...

Since there's a place for suggestions...What about an option for starting a thread and inviting specific people to it? Public and Private threads, in other words. That way people could debate a topic without...
