I keep writing hubs and they keep getting rejected-saying that it is overly promotional- I only have one link in there- how can that be overly promotional.
The only time my hub got approved was when I had no links at all- now what is the point if I can't put one link in here?
Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong?
I also sent an email to them.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Your Hub was moderated for duplicate content and links. While we do allow up to 2 links to each domain per Hub of unique content, we do not allow any links on Hubs with text that can be found in whole or large part elsewhere on the web. Please see http://hubpages.com/hub/Overly-Promotional for further clarification.
You can put as many links as you want in a single hub, but only two to one domain. You'll also get in trouble if you repeatedly link to the same (commercial) domain across hubs. Since we can't see your hubs, we can't really help you, but you should read the FAQs: http://hubpages.com/faq/#overly_promotional
If you have an RSS feed and a single link to the same domain, that will register as overly promotional too.

Someone recently stated that there are limits to how much you can link to your own hubs. Does anybody know the limitations?
