I'm not even sure what that means. I have almost no links on anything, only 1 even has an amazon capsule, and I don't even know how to "keystuff" (it was listed on possible promotional items list). A friend told me maybe they think my content is generated by A.I. Well, it's not. I went back through my articles and am actually ashamed that some of this would even show up as linked to apps. I wonder if having asperger's makes me type overly wordy nonsensical stuff? So, I went through my articles after learning how to check for "plagiarism" on a few sites. Nothing at all. However, I put a few paragraphs I wrote through an A.I. detector and it says "Fully A.I.". It makes no sense at all. I have several articles about personal experiences. So, instead of being salty, I took some time and went through several articles and broke down my complex sentences. Now, a detector passed me as "human" but shows me writing at an 8th grade level. That should NOT be my goal. Any ideas from the experienced vets in here ? Writing on here keeps my crazy brain occupied since I'm home a lot now that I had to go on disability. Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance for all responses.
Bev has good advice. Though I couldn't see your article, try writing "I experienced..." or "I discovered that..." or "I traveled to..."
Thanks for the suggestion. I have theories but I don't know how to actually prove or disprove them. I have recently changed titles and freshened up old articles. I am unsure if possibly Google keeps a copy of the old versions and thinks I'm merely rewriting it to show as being 'new'. I got a new notice today saying an article was done by an article spinner. I had to actually google that to see what it was. All of my stuff is just me typing way too fast and without much emotion, apparently. I guess I'll know soon when I get answers.
Contact team@hubpages.com and ask why they are penalising your articles.
I sent two messages already. I don't want to get a reputation as a troublemaker.
Oh, ok.
I see that a number of your articles have been reinstated. Good news.
Your mindfulness article (the only one I looked at) is similar to the forest bathing one. In my opinion, you need to change the voice from 'dry' to a more personal one. Give your own experience of the suggestions you are making. What changed in your life? How you feel now. What you do in your life to promote mindfulness. People want to read about your journey. They want to be uplifted and enthused.
Thank you for the input. I don't disagree at all. I'm somewhat lacking in emotion and when I write about non-personal experiences, it comes off as research material. I'll look back over them when I have time. Yes, I put some back in to be republished with very small changes and they went right through. I also got an AI warning. I put my articles through AI checkers and the results are ridiculous. Some of the exact same pieces are 100% human on one and 100% A.I. on the other. I literally wrote two paragraphs on a subject, plugged it in and got 100% A.I. warnings. I got one that said "these is duplicate from hubpages". yes, it's MY work, dummy. LOL Thanks again for all the feedback ! i'm learning by the day
I understand. But simply making it more personal and upbeat will get rid of that AI appearance.
Suggestion: I don't know what word processing program you use, but if it's possible to have two windows open side-by-side, you can have the existing article in one while you rewrite a new version in the other. Take each paragraph, one-by-one, and work out how you can 'humanize' it. Same info, but with more warmth. You could even pretend you are someone else if you find it hard to conjure up that sense of emotion.
I don't have a word processing program at all, actually. I just use the hubpages site. I never use my phone except for texts and calling. I am very laptop dependent. I'm open to suggestions on which apps or add-ons to help me improve. The most frustrating thing I'm experiencing right now is these AI checkers saying it's obviously not human when i'm literally sitting here typing the paragraphs right into their sites.

I would never create my articles in the HubTool. You need to save a copy as you are working - you never know when the site or browser might crash. I hate even losing a paragraph as it interrupts my train of thought.
I'll look into it ASAP. Thank you so much for the time you have put toward my questions this weekend.
You were publishing articles created with AI. If you try to publish AI content again your account will be banned.
I have fixed my articles, removing all links and anything else that might be viewed as promotional. I also took advice from other hubbers and wrote with a different style. Thanks for looking back over them.
I had a look at your Forest Bathing article and it does come across as being 'detached', and, yes, as if it could be AI-generated although I realise it isn't.
You need to make it more human. Like you are talking to a friend and describing the practice and how it benefitted you. It wants warming up, if you know what I mean?
Reduce the bullet points to a single list and turn the others into proper paragraphs.
Also, add a final paragraph as a conclusion.
Hope that helps.
Thanks. I'll use your pointers and make some edits. I just don't understand what the heck happened. As always, I appreciate your help !
I don't see any articles so can't give feedback. You could try the direct approach and email HP to ask why they've been categorized as over promotional. If it's not something obvious like too many Amazon or outward links then one can only speculate.
Yes you're correct. I guess until anyone can see anything it's pointless to ask for help. I was hoping maybe there was just some easy answer. I've emailed them a few times but haven't heard back yet. Thank you, Paul.

Is a warning for being overly promotional on an unpublished hub a bad thing?I am working on a hub right now that will include links to several different sites. I went ahead and found the sites I intend to use and put them in an unpublished hub just as a way to save them. I intend to go...

So, I've had a hub unpublished due to HP claiming that it's overly promotional. The hub only has 2 outbound links ( which is the number of links we're allowed to put for the other external sites ) this is the only thing that I'm having in my hub. There is also NO amazon products or Ebay or...

Is there a balance of Amazon products on a page that makes a hub overly promotional? Or is it dependent on the individual hub (over and beyond the 50 words per product)?

Hi All:All my hubs have been flagged as overly promotional even those pages that have no links in them .Two of my 30 hubs are about Chinese New Year and how to make a fruit cake without any links whatsoever. I am wondering if a mistake was made with my hubs or I am I missing something. Most of the...

I used to like to bring the silly moderation messages to light, in order to hopefully get better explanations of the new rules that HP created throughout 2011.Eventually, the lack of definitions by HP just became irritating and I stopped and just left the account to fester. But, for 2012, I was...
