So interesting in the community of HubPages following the new adjustments to the Google dance rules and styles. I took it to heart to comply accordingly alongside with HubPages updates and directives. Cutting the whole story short and in stages. After all the fixing, 48hrs later my profile hubscore began to come down from 87 to 82 down to 65.

Three of my earned accolades disappeared immediately it went below 75 but it didn't affect my hub traffic nor the hubscore in fact, some were at 93, I got a bit worried unlike me on issues like this though I rarely go below 80 for over 3yrs now, I had to contact the HubPages Team and the answered with care - Thanks to Maddie and HubPages Team. Things were then in proper shape after the exercise but needed a kind of propagation like and now it has settled and rising back and better. My three missing accolades are now back home and rightly positioned. big_smile smile

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying... but it looks as if you are saying that the lord and hp team work in mysterious ways! smile

Now if you can just get the same group to upgrade your car.. you'll be a made man! big_smile

Sometimes it may seem to be like a myth including the new 'karma score.' But I could tell at the time and score they disappeared and returned home. HubPages is very interesting, I really learnt a lot and adjusted on many things during this period uptil this moment. @Pearldiver, I wish the car could fly beyond this make believe two wings of it. smile

I think there have been a few bugs in the system here hmm

Like you and Sofs some of my accolades disappeared for ages and what should have been a secure login on the affiliates pages was also open to third parties.. plus many of my links were turned off and that can ONLY be Done from the C-Panel or via a remote user who has hijacked the account! - Yep.. all very bad smile

I suggest that you use this plain patch as an opportunity to re change your passwords, just in case your site had been hijacked!
I personally don't think that HP would tell us if we have been hijacked, unless we ask them directly!

So best reload new passwords and your security questions.. Good Luck mate. smile

That sounds strange to me. I don't think there's a bug in the system. The disappearance of the accolades are a bit normal especially when Hubber's profile score goes down below 75 which could be as a result of so many factors like agressive and frequent befriendship or following of other hubbers and other factors. HubPages learning centre has more to say about it. It's secured here and no account has ever been hijacked to the best of my knowledge and experience in HubPages. I guess you were somehow moderated following the new updates and changes on HubPages to make here best publishing platform for us all. smile

Yep.. I am telling it a it was! I have no need or reason to twist the story.
I was horrified to find that most of my Profile Links had been turned off... Off when I wasn't logged in and On when I was! hmm

When the links were 'Off' and clcked... a redirection stated - "That Account is No Longer In Existence!"
    - Which told my Search Engine Traffic that they were wasting their time trying to link to my work! sad

As I said.. that had to have been done via the C-Panel. And if it was indeed some effort to 'Moderate' my page.. then I want to know why and where my traffic was being redirected to! hmm

That's Fair Enough... I've promoted this site for 2 years... if a 'moderator' has on occasion redirected my SE traffic.. I expect to be told! Wouldn't you?
