I am ready to publish a hub on: Preparing A Child For Surgery. But I am unable to decide on an appropriate category for my hub. Please help me on this.

Half an hour after posting you are devastated about losing your dog, you are writing a hub about something which you could have no experience of?
      Gimme a break!

This was something I had wrote a week back and just could not get time to post. Yes I am devastated by the dead of my pet dog. But life must go on an I am sure my beloved pet's soul would like me to move on and get over this grief.

          It seems awful quick, however.

I lost my pet dog more than a day back and just wasn't having time to post it on here as I was really devastated.

I am trying my best to get over the death of my pet and I thought publishing a hub would be a way to get things moving. If no one's willing to help me on deciding an appropriate category for my hub so be it. I expected the hubber community to support me recover from the loss of my pet and not make things more difficult for me.

You seem to have some new grevience or crisis almost every day, that is my impression. Thus, my lack of enthusiasm for helping you. Let us hope someone more sympathetic comes along.

That is rude Website Examiner. I considered you to be a matured and respectful hubber. May be I was wrong.

I have to say I am rather shocked too. What you wrote before was not a hub, so how did you write it over a week ago and are then able to say you only just posted it? A forum topic is an immediate post, not something you can 'save' for a week unless you typed it in another program, but then why post it a week later? To be honest when I commented on your other forum thread a few minutes ago I was so sympathetic as I had experienced losing my own dog and hubbed on it, but I would never have dreamed of immediately going on to publish a new hub on a new subject straight after invoking sympathy from others! I agree your pet would want you to 'get on with your life', but somehow the way you have 'got on with your life' comes across as if you have already got over the loss of your pet. I doubt the loss of a child would have been so easy to move on from, which gives the impression your pet did not mean quite as much to you as I thought he/she did. Sorry, but that is how you have come across, intentional or otherwise sad

I'm only going to suggest this, but if I was to categorize this Hub title, I would place it under one that was Health related. Hope this gives you an idea.

but I just looked and I see what you mean - Paul Deeds is great at helping here.  He will create a category if there is not one

      good luck

I recommend that you start by filling out some information about yourself on your profile page. Based upon your interests and background, maybe you can get an idea for something to write about. Please visit the Learning Center and take some time to read hubs on topics of interest.

Sid ,what are you talking about ? I have just put ,I hope ,a reasonably intelligent item on your dead dog post and then I look at this and wonder !! First ,as a retired teacher ,didn't anyone learn English  ? There are more mistakes than a dog has fleas ! Dogs again ! What breed was your pooch ,obviously not one with character or you wouldn't be blathering you'd be quietly grieving .  Now ,to busines ,as aforesaid retired teacher -How to prepare a child for surgery -are you serious or is this just giving we old teachers happy ideas as to what surgery for which we would prepare those horrible kids we had in our classes  .I can think of all sorts of "ectomies" I would like some of the little swine I have taught to undergo, although as a very old fashioned teacher most of them would have preferred the "ectomy" to my solutions to their problems !! I have to say I normally had happy classes -once you've sorted out the little B______s all is pleasant and one can get on and do the job properly .  I think you are politically correct and not much good with kids or dogs !!

I think that post is hilarious, and just what I would imagine a teacher would have to say! All ...ectomies are not necessarily bad!

Have to say Izzy I became a parent later than most and not long ago had a ride in an ambulance with my teenage son , who'd been doing some adventurous trick on his bike , to hospital to be scanned for a suspected back injury .Then some twit is fiddlearsing round " shall I do this ...bla  bla shall I do that " ,is the damn fool serious  ?!  Putting grief on display ,Ive shed tears for all my dogs that have died but his post on the subject seems so false .For creative writing I'd give him three out of ten ! Bet my old Airedale was worth ten of his animal -she was one hell of a companion .

I have struggled many times over how to categorise a topic and it isn't always clear.
However, in this instance, I would imagine it comes under Health, somewhere.
