    Hi,

I had the number 1 page rank for "one kings lane review" using this hub:

    http://juliebooly.hubpages.com/hub/Revi … lash-Sales

I was getting 30-50 hits a day and suddenly my traffic disappeared completely! My page (and several others) have suddenly disappeared from Google. I don't get the impression that I've done anything wrong and, trust me, don't know enough about html to do something really inflammatory. Can anyone determine why I might have got bounced? Thanks!!

Many of us are wondering the same thing and have been doing so for a while.  Roughly 80% loss in earnings for some of us.  smile

Sometimes things like this happens for a few days only.I hope your hub will come back to its previous position soon.

Did you change any of the text recently, sometimes all it take is for you to remove the keyword from the paragraph Google crawled on the page and your hub will drop. If so then change it back to what it was before. Its probably like Andromida said  though

Thanks everyone - fingers crossed! I did change my title to be more like the google search, but it seems to have totally disappeared - i'll see what happens in the next few days. No sins to mention smile.

Do you think that maybe somebody might have even copied your hub and perhaps it is on some website somewhere in a slightly modified form and earning adsense or clicks? I could be wrong, but dupe content usually gets the ick if Google find it.

I'm not sure - the site did come back up after a bit so I'm hoping not! I had that happen on on another post and it worked out well for me - I had other links to other forums embedded and folks clicked to view those posts.

I would be willing to bet this happens from pirating, although others sometimes don't realize what happens, they just think its cool and want to share with other and in the world of copy and paste, its so easy to do. I am very new to HUB pages and do not understand wholey how the earnings work even, but put a hub up a few days ago and was getting very popular with others and I posted it to my friend in FB and it traveled from there and it was removed. So again I would bet that is what has happened, I do not understand though if this is not allowed and even HUB pages removes your hubs, that you have pasted to your own website or other entity, how in the world do they think they can stop others from happening upon your intellectual properties from 3am and not being able to sleep (best time for me to be creative, not sure about you), where was I, oh yes, and keep them from passing them along which has an adverse affect on earnings if you are in that bracket -  and why isn't Hub pages doing something so as the text in this forum cannot be transferred to keep this from happening to people whether deliberate or not? Can someone explain to me how the earnings really work and what is a realistic amount to earn from popular postings?
