Quick question regarding the Ebay feature.. My understanding is that once this is activated (and application is approved) you can link ebay sales to your hubs and theoretically receive money for sending traffic to Ebay. However, what happens when a sale/auction expires on Ebay? Does the author have to periodically delete and repost new links to new Ebay auctions?
Thanks in advance!
Nope, it will be replaced with a new item based on the criteria you put in the capsule. It may or may not be similar to the original item.
You'll notice that in the eBay capsule, you can't choose specific products - you can only enter a keyword. The capsule will find current products matching that keyword.
Thank you guys for the information as I have just applied for eBay.
You also have the option to have the capsule select items from a specific seller on Ebay based on your keyword as well. This works well if you are selling related products under your seller account on Ebay.

I think that HP should discontinue Ebay capsules. The earnings are pitiful at best. Instead of Ebay I am sure that HP could use another advertiser/provider in its place.

Have you seen the new rules regarding product capsules? It's in the HubPages Weekly. We have to reduce products within each capsule from 2 to 1, as a way to prevent looking spammy by Google. Oh Lord, what a task. I've...
