What are the ways that the American educational system discourages gifted students in favor
of the average student? Should American schools implement a stricter tracking system based upon the intelligence level of students & strictly segregate students based upon their intellectual level? In many American schools, students of all intellectual levels are in class together. This does a GREAT DISSERVICE to more gifted students. It is about time that schools should be more specialized, there should be specific classes for gifted students so they can use all of their potential & thrive. They should be kept away from average students who are too slow for them.
I think that all children should be in same school gifted or not.No child wants to be seperated from there friends. The schools do well nowadays at educating the children at their level but not isolating them from the rest of their classmates.

Will the U.S. ever be tops in math and science?Having lived in Southeast Asia I've seen how non-American youth essentially enter the world being prepped for college; and from a very young age they learn and study intensely, even controversially. But it seems to pay off for them, often right here in...

Do you think an online education should be just as credible as a brick and mortar school education?
