   Has anyone completed college online and didn't have any problems finding a job?
   
   Considering going to school online but apprehensive because it seems like anyone can get a degree online. Yes I know different colleges hold different accreditation's.

   I got my degree online and I need you to know that you are misguided. Not everyone can get a degree online. I went to college at my local campus until I had children and then I wasn't able to return for over 10 years because of my work and family schedule.
   
   If you think you are going to skate through college because you are not sitting in the class you are in for a very big shock! I recommend you try a class online first so you know what it is like.
   
   The course work is much tougher, there is a lot more homework and it is definitely not an "easy" way to get a degree. It is much more convenient, and for many it is the only way to return to school.
   
   My two children are grown and my son is in college now. He attends on campus but this semester when he couldn't find a spot in the course he needed on campus he chose an online course. He thought it would be easier because he could look at his books too! Well now he wishes he had waited to take the class on campus next semester because it is his toughest class.
   
   My degree has been well regarded every where I have gone.to work.  I was also able to complete it much quicker than if I had attended campus full time - but it was FAR from easy!

   I agree completely with cwarden! I chose Ashford University because I can get a degree that does not state that I did my classes on-line.
   
   Also; I can actually go to the campus and receive my diploma on stage! You must be careful in your choice of an on-line college. Not all are the same!

   Yes, I completed my online degree in nursing administration from Independence University and doing well in my career. Going to a campus and studying online, both have their own merits and demerits. I prefer distance learning programs (http://www.independence.edu/distance-de … ograms.php ). Though it involves ample hard work, I love the flexibility of scheduling my own time while managing other commitments. The University is accredited by DETC, which is a reputed accrediting agency recognized by U.S. Dept. of Ed., and has been offering distance education programs for over 30 yrs now.

   Before, when you're working, going to school seemed impossible. Now that online education is already available, such goal can be realized. Of course you have to be careful in choosing your online school as this is a big investment of your time and money, Depending on your chosen career path, you have a lot options before you.    Having a job still depends on the person. Either you got your degree online or through traditional learning it does not matter. As long as your good enough there will be no problem finding a job. The only difference is that when a graduate went into a online trade school http://blog.earnmydegree.com/, he can entirely finish a course in a short matter of time.
