    If so, you know that he is a legendary lyricist.  Do you have a favorite quote, lyric or song title to share?  My favorite song is "Hold On."  If you don't know of Tom Waits, come on in and find out more about this man whose songs have been recorded by Alison Krauss, Norah Jones, Rod Stewart, Diana Krall and The Eagles.

    And he himself is a singer (distinctive raspy voice). And has appeared in some movies, too.
    Tom Waits is, IMHO, a bit of an acquired taste.
    My husband adores his music.
    Here's one of his wistful tunes.
