Why would someone have a baby and mistreat it instead of giving it up for adoption?
People don't stop to think "oh maybe I should get on birth control" before having sex. Thus a child is born. People don't stop to plan out the birth and well being of their child, they normally just go with the flow. People don't stop to think "hmmm maybe I'm not ready for a kid just yet."
Children are not toys, they are living things and need to be tended to. Watered with love and fed healthy food so that they can grow up to save the world.
When having sex with your boyfriend or girlfriend, you don't stop to think about how it would be smarter to NOT get knocked up! (some people do actually think about this before having sex but, not most people) Sex brings out the animal in us all and animals mate to control the population, humans are one of the few animals that make for the hell of it.
So guys, if you don't want to be a dad yet ... strap it before you tap it and girls ... if your not ready to be a mommy get on the PILL!
Ignorance. Sometimes, people also just snap and then feel bad about it later. Other times people overdo "tough love" or feel that they are merely disciplining their child. Sometimes it's also a cultural or contextual thing--if everyone around you is having babies, you're probably going to end up feeling pressured to have one as well, even if it isn't what you want. There may also be a stigma against adoption, or people may simply not be aware that it is an option.
i true i know . i ask because last week i was still seeing on the news the murder and rape of a five month old baby and it tared me apart inside ...i was thinking to myself and then i said let me just type away and see if theres anyone out there feeling the same way i do ..
Some people have baby's and truly believe they are "great" parents. Up until the time the child goes to to school will anyone find out how bad he/she has really had it at home. Even then they fall through the cracks and often times end up dead. This is a very sad society we are living in these days.
it's because they want the bragging rights, and they think everyone will help them. at least that is what many people i know do.

i'd personally feel very uncomfortable having sex in front of my kid (if i had any) or any kid for that matter, as it would be way too embarassing for me. plus, i'd be too scared it might also affect the child in one or two ways. one it might scar them or they might develop being into...

I was just laying here on my mother's bedroom floor. She turned to one of the TV preachers, and he was talking about how much Jesus loves us, and the sacrifices that He made for us, and how every human is expected to consciously make a decision to follow Him.And I thought about the girls stuck...
