Who was your role model growing up?
My mother was my role model growing up. But lately, it seems to me that children are looking up to sports figures, actresses, models, and singers as their role models instead of their own family. How do you feel about this?
Growing up, my role models were my parents, and my brother, somewhat, maybe my grandparents a little bit. But I agree, celebs like Hannah Montana and Taylor Swift are now big role models for little girls. It's wack if you ask me, because they might be young women who might even be good role models, but they can't really relate on any level because they have lives consumed with money and fame and it's a different world and it's not real to those living outside of Hollywood. Times have changed I guess!
I love Lucy. I know it's crazy, but I loved her, and I still do. I have a good sized collection of many "I love Lucy" stuff. A couple of Halloweens back I even dressed up like Lucy. She was funny and so lovable!
Well sorry, mine was Madonna. As bad as I realize it is now, she was my role model when I was a kid, but I fortunately grew out of it pretty quickly. Of course my mother and father were probably subconsciously my role models.

As Role Models go, who would you say makes a good Lesbian Role Model? Ellen De Generes? Tina Tequila? Any names come to mind out there? What are your opinions? Or is the world a bit short on Role Models who are Lesbian? Or do you think Straight Roles Models make a good substitute? Let me know,...

Okay, to Earnest...If you looked at the whole "religion" thing as trying to find a role model, would it seem unreasonable to you?(speaking in a broad view, with no specific religion addressed)

Did you give your parents a hard time? Were you the kid who always got in trouble, the instigator of all neighborhood wars, the wild child? Were you the 'black sheep' of the family while all your siblings were well behaved? Let's hear it.
