Can you suggest some activities for stay at home mom whose children are all out in school?
It could be overwhelming when children are all in school and then suddenly you are left alone at the house come school time. What are some worthwhile activities for stay at home mom whose children are out during the day?
Clean up all their messes of course, then repeat and repeat, go for a walk and spend some time on hubpages. Of course you'll have to make sure you look busy when the time arises if you get my drift!
How old are your children? You can volunteer your time at the school. Educational assistant positions have been cut and schools need the help. The time they are in school is quite short.
I take the time to spruce up the house a bit. Buy groceries and run errands. Bake or prepare homemade snacks for after school. Go on a walk/jog/bikeride with a friend or alone ...I play a tennis match a couple times a week to keep fit and for social interaction. Have coffee with other moms. Write hubpages articles.
Volunteer for charity --one of my friends buys special items for kids with cancer. Catch up on reading--Lord knows you'll get no "me time" when the family gets home. Research and prepare fun dinners. Volunteer coach at your local Boys and Girls Club.Volunteer to be on the board for local organizations--that will certainly keep you busy. Finally, volunteer for mentorship or leadership through your church.
Calligraphy, writing, gardening, home projects, decorating, organizing the house, reading books, then normal housework.
Oh so many things. Taking online classes, writing hubs, a little part time job. Sewing (something I found impossible to do with kids standing over your shoulder waiting for the finished product). Reading a book cover to cover with no interruption.
I do remember how difficult it was when they went back to school, we had so much fun when they were home.
Good luck, I'm sure you will find just the right activity to fill your days.
I loved getting together with neighbors, going out for lunch, volunteering at the school, bowling league, reading, doing crafts, volunteer work, joining a gymn, taking online classes, visiting nursing homes, shopping, taking a part time job. It's a fun time and then you welcome the kids home and tell them you missed them. You always miss them no matter what you do all day.
My wife stays at home all the times and she will occupy herself with the computer all day long. There are so many info that you can use the computer to research about. She does that to help our children in their studies.
Other than that, she learn new style of cooking. She will experiment new dishes daily. That takes up her time for each day!
There are a lot of activities. Fashion Designing is one of the best among them. Stitching new designs is really very interesting and adds to our creativity. Those who are interested in cooking can experiment some new dishes
