Alcoholic Wassail Christmas Punch

INGREDIENTS
1 gallon apple cider
| 6 whole allspice
|
1 cup light brown sugar
| 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
|
1 6 ounce can frozen lemonade
| 1 4 inch cinnamon stick
|
1 6 ounce can frozen orange juice
| 2 bottles port wine
|
12 whole cloves
| oranges and lemons (optional)

DIRECTIONS
In large kettle, mix together cider, sugar and frozen juices. Tie cloves and allspice in small piece of cheese cloth and add to cider mix. Add nutmeg and cinnamon stick.
Simmer mix gently for 20 minutes.
Add wine, heat to steaming, but not boiling.
Remove spice cheese cloth. Serve the punch hot.
If you put the punch on the buffet , use metal punch bowl and float thin orange and lemon slices on top.
