Brown or Black. I like dark beers that use roasted malts imparting smokey, coffee and/or chocolate-like flavors. I definitely lean towards the maltier beers with less hops. However, balance is key here. An IPA is too bitter for me in most cases, unless there is a sufficient amount of malt to balance it out. Another favorite of mine is Belgian Blonde Ales. These are complex beers with many layers of flavors and tend to linger on the palate after tasting.
