I don't believe so Wesman. I have checked out many alcohol related Hubs and have even seen a Google text add that said "beer".

Is alcohol considered illegal by Google?  It will be interesting to find out what their rules are for this type of content. Personally I don't see a problem with a hub about your favorite beers, and it will be surprising if Google cares about it.

Nope! I also have a hub about the best microbreweries in Chicago and it's never been flagged or reported by Google. Good Luck! (I Love Beer!)

Todd, I don't see any reason why Google would not allow this type of hub. Providing a review of an alcoholic product like beer, wine or the hard-stuff is a good way to gather readers in my opinion, and shows this in many great hubbers hubs to date. As long as Google doesn't find it over promotional, I think you'll be fine. My one experience with this is, Google had a problem with a hub I wrote about MDMA - Xstacy. I had to revise some of the information because their auto-bots thought I was saying good things about it,...I in fact was NOT! But, with a little restructuring of sentences and phrases, it is now ad-able and published. I can't see how a hub on such a LEGAL product as your favorite beer could cause you trouble. Good luck--hope this helps.

Thank you all for your answers.  I'd had another hubber once scare me about all the shotgun review hubs I'd done; but I've had no problems with those.  I talk about drugs all of the time, but it's not like I'm advertising them, but I would be heaping praise on my favorite brews, and I guess I just hadn't seen any hubs about beer.

    Thanks again.

You can write a hub discussing alcohol, hubs are not permitted which sell or promote the sales of beer, hard alcohol, or liqueurs. Here is AdSense policy:

Beer and liquor will not get your hub adsense banned... dirty sexual topics are what to avoid. Or even topics that could be misinterpreted that way. For instance, my cat went through something call anal gland abscesses and when I wrote a hub to help fellow pet owners my adsense was disabled.... as soon as I removed "anal" from the title and tags my ads were back on!

I am going to fan you now so I may look at what your fav beers are smile
