   When you make deviled eggs, what do you do with the left over deviled egg mixture?
   
   Every time I make deviled eggs, I always have a lot of mixture left over. It seems like a waste to throw it away. How do you use your left over mixture?

   I usually just add more filling to each egg, heaping it up until it's gone. Or, I fill a spoon with it and enjoy it all myself!

   Egg salad sandwich.  Put on bed of lettuce with other fresh veggies such as tomatoes.

   I do like Susan and heap it on the eggs. If there's just a bit, I eat it. Maybe on a cracker.

      Good idea, Janis! I always just eat a spoonful, but I also like the idea of elevating the flavor by putting it on a cracker. Thank you for this tasty idea.

   Depending on the amount left over, I eat it or keep it for an egg salad sandwich.
   Where I lived in the UK they would often place cress (a small leaf fast growing plant) in the sandwich as well.

      LOL!  Well, for starters, I make it a little on the dry side; not stick-to-your-mouth dry, but enough so it won't sag, and I pipe it into the whites with a pastry bag, so it mounds up and is pretty besides.  ;-)

      OK... I get it. I am going to make my next batch with a little less mayo and stuff. That might just solve the problem. I'll make it stickier so it won't fall over if it is mounded up. Thank you for the idea.
