In amazon.
If you notice that you have earned money from a sale on a product is there any way you can work out which article it has come from.
Thanks in advance
Go to "view full report" in your earnings summary and every single thing ordered will be there.
Unfortunately Mark didn't really answer your question.
While you can see all of the things you sold via Amazon when you check the stats, you do NOT get information on exactly which Hub the sales came from.
yes relache, you are on the ball that is what I am chasing. We need or I do anyway want to know which hub got me that earnings as the article does not always represent what hub we wrote to actualy suit or warrant that sale.
So is there a way of doing it ???? any other ideas
Affiliate tracking software may be a good idea, although you do have to have a webhost account and buy the affiliate tracking software...I suppose it would be good if we could apply different amazon id's for a start, we get 100 ids for the astore associate program, so it would make sense if we could use them for different promotions like in a series of hubs, although you'd only get a rough idea, so maybe some type of tracking software could be used!
Not on HubPages. All you can do is look at what people bought, and guess!
What they have said and also
the worse comes to worse method
where you look at the product and try to work back where it came from
Perhaps you sold a coffee machine, so it might have came from your hub on coffee making (if you have one)!
But I guess beyond that the next alternative is to use the tracking ids, i'm unsure if google analytics can track outgoing links to amazon?

Thinking of joining hubpages' Amazon program but I don't currently have an Amazon account and would like to make sure if going through the hassle of making an account then joining the affiliate program is worth it.

Heads up! We’re changing the way we calculate Amazon earnings for participants in the HubPages Amazon Program (external Amazon affiliate users will not be affected). The changes we are making are necessary for the HubPages Amazon Program to work properly on AMP pages. Plus, authors will have more...

Just curious, but does anyone have experience with this? How'd you do it? Did you tell Google the article moved somehow or do anything else fancy? Or did you just copy, paste, delete from HubPages, and wait for Google to catch up?Im guessing there might be some duplicate content penalties from...
