Did you hear? Anyone else wondering why this hasn't been all over the news? Check it out I'm  SERIOUS... TIME SQUARE WAS BOMBED, check the links, this isn't some misleading thing, THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED and I HAVEN'T seen a blip of it, except when I dug a little on the internet... So I'm posting some links to info... Anyone want to tell me what THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?

(on the above notice the naming of the Nationality, a country that seems to be being mentioned a lot lately.... I remember the last time the news played a bunch of finger pointing propaganda... I don't know what scares me more the fact that it seems the news barley scratched the surface of covering the incident, or the fact no ones talking about it at ALL...

I'm surprised. It's been all over the News in Britain and the Middle East. Surely the story must have been covered in the States?

Silly me, I just had a look at your link...
Its the failed bomb in times square, that was reported here. I guess if it ends well and no one is killed its just not as big, news wise. Hard to use fear as propaganda when everything turned out ok in the end. Bomb found and removed without death seems like a good outcome to me smile

It may have been all over the news in other countries, and it may seem like I am a little behind on this topic, but, point still remains, it wasn't covered NEARLY like even the stupid IMMIGRATION BS! Maybe in Canada, most of my friends from the rest of the world know all about it, the USA? Nope. So good for you guys, your the few....

I'm sorry, it was all over CNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, Yahoo, local news, and pretty well any other mainstream media for days. They show clips of the FBI searching the guys house and interviewed neighbors. This is already old news. I live in BFE United States and heard all about it so you must have been sleeping. lol

Okay, first off, the bomb didn't go off.

The article is talking about the failed bomb attempt and those who are connected to it.

Am I surprise that a Pakistan citizen is involved? No. Simply because terrorists make up a diverse group of different people from different nations.

I saw it on the news when it happened. Of course I mostly read online news so I still see articles about it.

"Please pardon the interruption, but Time Square got BOMBED...."

Um, Time(s) Square did not actually get bombed...
This might be why you did not see it all over the news.

The failed attempt to bomb Times Square was covered for several days by all major media. Maybe it just didn't catch your attention, because the headlines didn't put the word "bombed" in all caps, for dramatic emphasis.

Are you a member of the Tea Party?
Your post has the kind of indignant, fear-filled and completely misinformed quality to it that we usually hear from that camp.

It's a good idea to learn what the facts are before you go off on a rant, not after.

Okay, well, glad to hear that every one of the 12 people that replied heard about the incident. No, I'm not part of some tea party, and fear filled isn't really my take, but I live in LA and everyone on the set I was working on had not heard of it... Fair enough that when I am onset I don't get news like everyone else cause its at least 12 hour days. The point was that the IMMIGRATION has been much BETTER COVERED than the "attempted bombing", and I was curious to see who actually drew that conclusion, but in any case, thank you all for your replies.
