yes it's true. unemployment has brought me to take on the 30 hubs in 30 days challenge. any past conquerers of this feat are welcome to lend me their advice, encouragement, topic ideas, or throw rocks at me for even thinking of attempting such an intense endeavor. i just hope i can stay somewhat interesting for an entire month. stay tuned everyone.
all the best.
I haven't participated in a challenge, but on my own I've pretty much obliterated a challenge if I were to do one haha. I'd say to just keep a list of possible hubs that you would like to write about, and keep adding to that list even if your not writing another hub for that day, so you can have those ideas for the next day and so on. This comes in handy if you run dry of ideas!
good luck ... i have been thinking about doing this for the last 2 month and have yet to get the nerve
JDavis, I know you've already started, but I suggest you change tack.
Why not make your 30 Day Challenge coincide with the June contest? That way you'll find it easier to get ideas for Hubs, and you'll have the motivation of healthy competition to keep you going.
that is very good advice... maybe i could extend the challenge and include another 30 hubs for june. Although truthfully, i have a big list of ideas for hubs that i've already started brainstorming...i have to write those first i think. I will consider it though. Healthy competition is good...thanks marisa
I took your advice and published hub on legumes and pulses today. Interesting to see how the month will run it's course...
Put your thinking cap on before you go flexing those itchy fingers!
Think smart so you don't have to work hard.
good advice. I'm usually too much of a perfectionist and far too anal to just start typing away random babble then hit publish...so my thinking cap is on.
so far, i'm finding it easier than i thought to come up with topics and actually form a few sentences about them. I just hope i can keep it up! day 4 of 30....we will see
Sorry to discover your 30 day plunge 7 days into it, but I hope you're doing well. I've taken 7 or 8 challenges in the last year. They are well worth the effort if you take them seriously. I saw incredible results each time. I spend a day or two just brainstorming topics and then do the keyword search. Then I start all the hubs. I have about 15-20 hubs brewing before I start fleshing them out. By having a variety, I can always find one I'm willing to work on each day. Sometimes, I might do 10 minutes on all of them. The key is stay at it.
Holler if you need help.
KCC - Thanks for the offer to help. It's going well so far. I'm seeing a jump in page visits, and learning a lot about hubpages and it's business aspects. I have a similar style when writing hubs only brainstorming 3-4 at a time, punching them out, and then publish only after letting them sit overnight and tweaking if need be.
I'm trying to stay at it, but also getting frustrated by some things. While I am happy with the content of my hubs, I am not 100% satisfied with my knowledge on the aspects that can potentially make me money, and not sure how to fix them ie: choosing the right keyword and title for adsense.
I have spent so much time on hubpages lately that I have developed a love hate relationship, but I do enjoy writing each day with a purpose. I hope to learn more on how to make sure my hubs get as much credit as they deserve. I plan on going through and optimizing (somehow) all my hubs after I complete all 30, hopefully this will deliver some monetary results eh? Thanks for the advice..
I havnt written a hub in so long because of work but now that my hours have been cut in half i just may, if i can think of anything....lol
Something with sex and Bollywood women always seems to go over well!
Man, as much as I love flirty bollywood actresses, I don't enjoy all these photo hubs with half naked women. Well, I do, but I don't. I would much rather see some quality topics...

What advice would you offer to people who want to complete the 30/30 challenge? What advice would people who have previously completed the 30/30 challenge have for newcomers who would like to complete the challenge? Are there tips for choosing content? Hubs you would recommend reading, etc.?

I got so excited about taking this challenge that I started building Hubs right away. As of right now I have 5 Hubs built, but since I am just starting the challenge today I am only going to count the 3 that I have published today. I am new at building Hubs but will do the best that I can to build...

Hi,Do more experienced Hubbers have any useful tips for getting your article moved to a niche site? I kept seeing advice that goes something like "make sure you write a high-quality article" but it just seems so vague to me. I have 9 articles now and the only one that was moved to a niche...

I'm not exactly new at hubbing but I really feel like after months in I want to try for a super boost to my hubing! Of course I have finals till Wednesday so I will be getting off to a late start. So do you think I should write each hub on a separate topic or focus on one subject as much as...

I just decided I'd like to try the 30/30 challenge and have a few questions before I start. I figure I'll start tomorrow, which ought to give me enough time to figure out a few topics to write about (unless I count the hub I published today, in which case I will have already done day one!) My main...

What words of advice would you give a Ph.D. graduate who is in a job beneath his/hereducational qualifications? A distant relative of mine has a son in his early 30s who has obtained a Ph.D. in Literature. He elected to be unemployed rather than to take a job beneath him;waiting for a...
