I am curious if it is the Hubbers score of 75 or an individual hub score of 75 that is required for a search engine to "see" the hub and include it in its rankings.
Search engines will see and index a hub with hubscore and hubber-score of ZERO. So the scores don't really affect your rankings etc.
However, the links you place in your hub won't be DOFOLLOW unless you have your author score above 74 and the hubscore(score of the hub where backlinks are) 40 or above.
No. The 75 threshold has nothing to do with search engines seeing a hub or not. You need an author score of 75 or higher to get the "nofollow" tag off your out-bound links on your hubs.
Thanks to both of you. I am in the phase now where I am trying to whip underperforming hubs into shape and want to understand this fact.
BTW, you shouldn't be worrying about your author score because its higher than most of us.
I had no idea that hubscore affected your 'dofollow' status, thats a handy bit of info!
A newbie here and that's a top tip...let me get working on getting my scores up
Cheers,

My author score is now 88. I've been active on the forums, hopping hubs, and answering questions. I haven't had this low of score since when I first started. Does removing poorly performing hubs cause author scores to go down or what is the problem?

This is what I have observed with my hubscore. After publishing a hub and leaving comments on other hubs, I get lots of traffic but the hubscore falls by the hour. When I stay away from HubPages for a few days, and the traffic drops to nothing, the hubscore starts to climb and reaches an all-time...

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.

My hub scores range from 65 to 87 as of the last time I looked. My average is 73. To me it seems like I have a "C" average. I'm disappointed and discouraged. I am doing everything that is recommend to get a good score. It is disheartening not to get a feedback. For...

Hi Everyone!I just noticed my hubscore jumped to 90 over night! I only have 4 hubs? I'm still a bit confused about how this all works. I've looked at MANY hubs the last few days about how to raise hubscores, what they are and etc etc, and from what I understand its a culmination of what you write...

Just few days ago, I posted a hub which I think was well-organised. However, after posting that hub I saw my author score dropping around 2 points. Can anyone explain why did it happen?
