This is the first time I have been in this type of site.  I love cats but I totally puzzled by their behavior.  I don't know what I am suppose to say about them.

What do I say about them or anything I like to talk about.

      welcome to hubpages..
I'd say the best way to decide on a topic about cats is to read all the topics already about cats...
you can see how others treated the subject and find your own angle...

There is a forum for "animals an pets" subjects.
This one is really for questions about how HubPages works.

i too have been puzzled about the behaviour of my cat. so i write cute stories about her. i just imagine what i think she's saying and make her the starring character in some of my best work by using the very behaviour that puzzles me.
    have fun and be creative,
    lecie

We are crazy cat worshipers who are waiting for the zombie cat-a-clyzizm that will destroy everything except computer-based life forms and cats.
Oh, and please don't tell anyone else. This site is supposed to be secret.

Ok, Rochelle--the truth is out.  I must admit, I had my suspicions.  But this puts the whole 2012 nonsense in its proper perspective.  The zombie cats are coming. . . .

Cats are, as everyone knows, very different from dogs.  Dogs belong to you: you belong to your cat.   He or she (it) will let you into their life when and where they feel like it.   If they don't feel like it, you'll be snubbed.

It is easy to make the assumption that cats don't really love you, and that you're simply a convenience that they use from time to time; you feed them, give them a place to stay.   I don't think that's true.  Cats love us, but in a way that is harder for us to comprehend than the welcoming yelp or nose-snuffle whine of our pet dog welcoming us home.   I've owned (is that the right word for a feline?) cats and dogs and have felt love by both.

I've also been in that position where I acquired both a pupply and a kitten at the same time and they grew up to be the closest of friends, so it isn't true that dogs and cats hate one another.   It's all a matter of how each is accepted by the other.
