Glad to be back!
I thought I was ready a month ago but more stuff happened!
Finally though: the house is ready, I'm moved in, my Mac is fixed, and I'm not working 16 hours shifts any more.
Phew.
You have no idea how excited I am to get back to writing. It's awesome to see everybody again!
Here's the house - I took this shot the day I closed the sale. I've fixed it up a little bit already.

There were restrictions because of the type of mortgage I used... this house was one of only two in the entire city that was A) eligible for the mortgage, and B) certified for occupancy by my must-move date.
Crazy!
I wouldn't have bought it if I was being forced to move, but it turns out that I'm happier here than I have been in a VERY long time.
Glad you've found a place where you're happy. Nice house!
