Ok, I'm bored. Everyone is gone or in bed already. So, I'm in a dance mix kind of mood.
Currently, I'm looping: Selena Gomez & The Scene's "A year with out rain" and a song by T.A.T.U called "All the things she said."
So, given that tiny bit of musical vectoring, got any dance mix that you think will work with MY TASTE given the evidence/sample provided?
This song is AMAZING: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8uPvX2te0I
LOL I did not know you are into underage lesbians. Let me see if i can find something similar for you
Great minds, ya know How about that one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krWNJ7pF4Kk
That was freaking awesome... and it lead me to THIS one, which I even like more:

Dude, hawt naked harmonizing Russian chicks. Really, sans a bottle of Grey Goose to finish off the experience, it doesn't get much better than that.
Yikes.....I'll have to look those up to figure out what you're going for.
I'll give you one fact I have determined about my taste: I LOVE chicks harmonizing.
Nothing beats some good harmonizing, male or female....in my book.
Yeah, I love harmony, period. But, there's just somethign about chick harmony that is better. Maybe it's as simple as me being a guy. I don't know. I LOVE E.L.O., the BeeGees, hell, even just generic barbershop quartets... but, given them or Abba or any number of contemporary pop slut-letts with synthesizers... yeah, whatever.
Back in the mid-90s I heard an acapella group that was similar of course to a barbershop quartet, but more contempary in sound....OMG it was awesome.
Speaking of which....I saw Huey Lewis and the News in concert back in the 80s and they sang a couple of acapella songs. The harmony was incredible.
I know this probably isn't something you'll latch on to.....but it's catchy as heck.....and has a good Friday night feel.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxWjtWONuGc&ob=av3nl
(Maybe it's jus' a Texas thang..... )
Ever hear of Wilson Phillips? Beautiful female harmonizing.
Otherwise...you may like Grenade or Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars. I became addicted to these two songs the first time I heard them!
I'm going to check them out right now, Rafini.
KCC, I listened to your link. I like it, although I don't care for country music in general, that one works pretty nicely, especially on Friday night. Good pull.
I knew you might not like the country music...but it's a more up-beat rockish country song. And, yes....it had that Friday night feel.
I agree with Rafini....Wilson Phillips is some of the best female harmonizing out there.
In the country genre, She Daisy is one of the best.
dance mix, how about Usher, DJ got us fallin in love again..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-dvTjK_07c&ob=av3em
That's a good one. I do like that.
But you guys are all chicks. LOL. YOu keep recommending dude voices. I'm in a chick harmony place atm.
I posted a link to the one that I'm down to now. I just LOVE the pitches. I never outgrew that 7th grade thing where I just play one song over and over a zillion times. I'm 44 and still do that all the time. Last summer, I wrote a novel (100,000 words over 8 or 9 weeks) to TWO songs, Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" and Within Temptation's "Mother Earth." lol. Over and over the whole time. Days of one, then days of another. How anal is that?
hmm, that was a nice song you posted. I like it.
well, there are always the pop monsters, Britney, you've heard her new one? but it only sounds decent if you download the final version. there aren't any decent youtube recordings. or you can listen to misha's stuff.
LOL...that's pretty bad. "Alejandro" always gets stuck in my head once I hear it. Another song that does that is "Do You Know the Way to San Jose?"...LOL
Ok...you forced me to do it.....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sjz1tIwNUEg
They're country, they harmonize, they're hot women.....2 out 3 ain't bad.....
And yeah, they are hawt for sure. Beautiful voices too. I just can't get into country. The rhythms are so predictable and the lyrics make Shakespeare kick his dog in Heaven.
Oh, I think you will like that one! It is as cynical as yourself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlqPWTEnt00 Much better quality than previous. And I like Mylene Farmer a lot, she has quite a few interesting clips.
And speaking of French, Patricia Kaas always is good, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDm3KL_nzOs
Dude, what is this chick's name in English. I'll go drop some coin on her songs on Itunes if she is there. She's great and I'm totally down with supporting her music.
I'm adding links to the post above this one. Dude, you have opened up a freaking FLOOD of amazing music.
God. America sucks. We are so tiny and un-exposed.
This one is awesome too... some dude:

I want to be Russian.
nice, I love music from other countries.. great voice although I have no idea what he's singing.
here you go! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN9WEccQ52U
You should check them out if you aren't. It started with hot naked chicks and has just rambled on to amazing songs.
I have checked out several....and yes, they're getting better with each of the ones I've seen. I'm behind though.
LOL The last ones are called Via Gra btw
I could not find itunes for others. The names are Stas Mikhailov for the guy, and Slava for the girl. Be warned that Slava is a common male name in Russian...
Are all the chicks in Russia that hawt? WTF?
Many. And not only in Russia - the whole Europe
wait wait wait...Via Gra?? sounds so similar... o.O
One more and I'll leave you alone:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqaNsOli … re=related
LOL That's the same girl Slava and the same song, as on the beach.
On a second thought, Slava could be a female name, though it is much more common for males.
I thought it sounded familiar. LOL. I am seriously having Russia envy right now.
Dammit, what have you done to me?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec8Yui1P … re=channel
English please.
Ur killing me. I only wanted one or two. You are going to cost me a fortune in singles!
He-he, I should have included itunes affiliate link and make a fortune on you. What a pity I am not their affiliate
http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/izbran … d370916091
You could have, except NONE of them translate to actual itunes songs. Your links aren't the same ones. I swear.
So, just to try to salvage ONE of these amazing songs...
how do I get this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqaNsOli … re=related
Ur link does NOT go to this song anywhere on itunes.
Anyway, I hope you can get that one pinned down for me. It's late, so I'm going to head up to bed. Maybe if I wake my wife up, she'll be in the mood. Thanks for a fun musical diversion tonight, even if it ends up I can't support any of these artists. (a shame).
Ummm, that's weird - cause they did show pages that seem like they have downloads for me. I don;t have itunes, so I could not really check if they work though. OK, just in case here are the names: Vera Brezhneva, Valeriy Meladze, Tina Karol. Good luck searching
Found em... some anyway. The one I really wanted is on iTunes as: "Sladko - Harchenko (Remix)" by Serebro
The Vera Brezhneva song is called "Nirvana"
and I got a wad of other stuff. So thanks. I just made about a 20 song library of Russian music. What a joyous discovery and addition to my music collection... and I'll be getting more and more. Thanks a ton, Misha!!!
Hey, you are always welcome John
Frankly speaking this is not exactly my music, though. I am more into that kind of stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzoQ0G8f96Y
She's got a pretty voice, and she is lovely too, but it's a bit too soulful for my vacuousness. That's thinking music, and I avoid thinking wherever possible
Yes. I like it, but not as much as "All the Things She Said."
If you like this kind of music, you should definitely go check out Sladko.
I prefer progressive trance or melodic trance but i don't miss chance to listen to any eurodance or dancemix if i found one.
Thanks for suggesting that track.
I liked some if the Russian stuff! Here is some Greek pop music
Despoina Vandi is good fun - you will have to skip past the 'Greek Idol' crap at the beginning. I saw her play live, in Sparta, but the restraining order stopped me from going within 200 metres of the stage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqCG6QjhrRs
Elena Paparizou is pretty good, too:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TjYlRBLgQg
Hope you can see that one - Sony is a bitch with copyright issues between countries.
I liked them both, but that first one... that chick is hawt!!! lol. Great song too. I totally understand the restraining order. Chick like that is worth being beaten by the police for. Thanks.
That's easy!
I have one for all you writers out there!!!

"Unwritten"
I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
Oh, oh, oh
I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken

Oh, yeah, yeah

I was wondering what songs make people feel good and why? One of my favourite feel good songs is Mr.Bojangles by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. I know it's a weird one as it's about a man who likes to dance and his dog and how when the mans dog dies he stops dancing. I think it's the loyality thing I...
