Hey, I am new to hubpages. I just want to get my articles out and build relationships. Whats the best way to do that without having my hub sitting for months with no views. How demoralizing?
Stop worrying.
It takes AT LEAST a month for a hub to get "traction" even if you have all the right keywords and great content. If you got niche hub it may take even longer.
I had a hub I wrote in Mid-November, got all the right keywords, topic, has good information, and so on. it wasn't until only past few days (mid-January) that it suddenly jumped from 20-40 hits a day to 250-300 hits a day.
It finally got to 1st page in Google search results.
i honestly have no idea im new myself and no ones readin my hubs yet so yea lol
The best way for you to get traffic from within HubPages is to read and comment on other people's hubs, especially in topics relevant to your own. You can follow people whose work interest you, and they may check out your profile and possibly follow you back, in which event they will be notified of any new hubs you write.
I advise you to write hubs of 500 words or more, and your grammar needs improvement. You can post your hubs for feedback in the Extreme Hub Makeover forum.
And to ask this question here in the forums... off to check you both out now.
Welcome to HP!
You mean in this forum I'm asking peoples to feedback my hubs ?
if yes , what the links of that ?
I'd like to recommend reading the Learning Center. You can find the link at the bottom of this page. It helped me a LOT.
Care about what you write. Don't write to make money. Don't write for readers. Write because what you have to say has meaning to you. Write as if no one will see it.
Then proofread the crap out of it so that it sparkles, so that nothing in the crude text of it spits on the beauty of the ideas.
Then participate in the community. For real. Not just to get read. Actually read and find people to care about. Comment. Read. Engage.
That's how. I.M.O.
Do some keyword research so you can get free traffic from google. 90% of my hub traffic comes from google. You can achieve it too!
I am brand new and is it true that we do have to write two to three Hubs before signing up with Adsense??? Thanks. I am so excited to finally have somewhere to share everything that is swirling in my head and read what has been created in many of yours!
"Have to" is a bit too strong, but it is advisable to do so. Be sure to have hubs with substantial original content, like 500 words or more. More than 3 hubs doesn't hurt, either. But if your application is declined for lack of content, you will have the option to add more content then resubmit.
Read stories of successful hubbers and then take a look at their hottest hubs to see how you can emulate that type of success...

Iris Draak rote a hub about the Demon of Banality. Her hubs and the comments it received, got me thinking about whether or not HubPages is appropriate for a discussion of serious issues or if that the road to oblivion.Recipes, crafts, and humorous essay appear to do very well. Can a writer be...

I like to check Hubpages on breaks at work. Now, I can't access my Hub feed because a Hubber chose to write a Hub about drugs, and Hubpages hasn't caught onto it yet. My organization is pretty fair on what it blocks/allows. Usually blocks things about gun violence, cults, and drugs. They also only...

In terms of quality, I would like to achieve the 100 rating as a writer and keep my hubs above 90. I would really appreciate feedback on my writing style, skills, strengths, weaknesses, etc and suggestions for improving. I did just learn from another make-over that I should wait awhile...

Let me preface this by stating I am not trying to be mean or a troll. In fact, I avoid the forums because I don't want to get involved. But with so many posts about the topics I'm about to discuss, I wanted to put in my two cents and to offer a reality check to old and new hubbers...

The discussion forum "Fiction Writers - Please Introduce Yourselves" (located at http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/91914 started by Website Examiner) is almost two years old. Website Examiner is no longer on HP. As I scrolled through the posts, I also noticed some of the hubbers are...

I don't know, maybe this is just a disgruntled Rant by myself, alone.I call myself a Writer. By default, this makes me a Reader. And, as someone who has the arrogance to think I am good enough to call myself a writer and a reader, I have opinions, on my works as well as the works of others. So, with...
