According to MSNBC, Dick Cheney says we might need stricter gun laws.

Also, now there's a black Tea Party.

Maybe you're ignorant, naive or worst. The Tea Party has had people of all races in it from the beginning including blacks. As for Dick Cheney's comment about gun control, that's not surprising. He's a part of the global CFR which would love to see American citizens unarmed.

Lots of white people, conservatives and liberals are one minded and can't think of anything else but lumping all black people in one group. Are all of you white people in one political group. Why is it strange or "twlight zone" for black people to be conservative or be involved in the Tea Party? Also, lots of people are uninformed about people like Cheney masquerading in high levels of politics.

Or maybe she has a sense of humor. Kick back with some gin and juice and watch a couple of episodes of Chocolate News. You will feel better, I promise.

Seriously tho, I just came across this series from comedy central and the 1st 3 episodes are hilarious.

wb, no one was doing any lumping here IMO. Would you have been as upset if she had mentioned the new White Panther organization thats clawing it's way into existance. I believe it is made of of primarily wiggers and their canidate for president is Vanilla Ice.

I found it ironic because so many people see the TP as a racist organization. Duh. Sorry you didn't "get" it. Like Stump inferred, it was a tongue-in-cheek post.

The only thing the people in the tea party have in common is mass ignorance. All races, one religion of course...usually only about 8 unique thoughts in the last 10 years though.

            Yeah, you wish.

The facts show reality, though. I'm not saying every Tea Party member is an ignorant Yahoo (though they all do SOUND as though they are), but the uneducated and the hopelessly stupid are drawn to this just as they are drawn to fundie religion.

I'm sure there are bright ones. Bright and selfish, bright and greedy, bright and deranged.. and even a few who just refuse to think things through and really believe that we can live in the 19th century still.  That latter group probably lives in areas that have not changed much in 200 years, so maybe we cannot blame them too much.

            Heck, no, I still do.

I love the maturity of conservatives. "NUH-UH! YOU ARE A DUMMYHEAD!"
People! Have we displayed, through these thousands of posts, what the real difference is? We have thinking people, mature individuals who attempt to use education and forethought in their decisions arguing the intricacies of our world with children in grown people's bodies. Ridiculous.

You obviously have only opinions, rather than facts regarding the tea party.  I know many partiers and they are nothing like you suggest.  They are for the most part, average ordinary middle income people who are tired of being raped by Washington and the elitists that think they know better than the rest of us how to run our lives, spend our money.
There are extremists in the Tea Party just as we have seen extremists here in the forums.  It's best to ignore all of them.

Remember, Dick Cheney's heart is failing so his brain is oxygen deprived - obviously enough to effect his gun law opinions.  Why be surprised that there is a black tea party aren't black people also taxed too much?

as far as dick talking about sensable gun control, yeah thats kinda weird, but he's got personal experience having started two wars and then shooting a friend.

That is a thinking man's question.  If one combines sufficient portions of the above with interesting people a party must ensue - it is a law of nature.
