Ono Feb 5th I saw from Hubpages that one of my football hubs had been copied and removed by an author on Rootzoo.com. Guess they were contacted by HP or someone about it.
They re-posted it and I found it there bright as day. I mean...copied all words, pics, divider bars....and to add "source to pictures...added a different site name."
I immediately tried to contact the author to give him a chance to remove my work. The site had no contact for their authors, so I sent the DMCA to the Rootzoo contact email.

Now today...I receive an email from Hubteam that Rootzoo.com has 3 copies of my Hub posted!!! I even sent a DMCA to Rootzoo's owner I found online-"network solutions".

Guess they decided if I am upset about stolen work they will post it repeatedly!!!

I have now emailed them again and am thinking about my State's Attorney General. Wonder if that would do any good?

Went to rootzoo.com and got this:

      503 Service Unavailable
No server is available to handle this request.

      Maybe they are gone.

      Regards,
      Art

Send an email to nocsupervisor@networksolutions.com, include a copy of the DMCA, and tell them that the owner of the email is not responding to your emails, remind them at as the host or the person disguising the true identity of the host they are legally required to assist in the legal process regarding a DMCA. Also advise that unless your receive a positive affirmiation of action being taken in this matter you will issue a cease and desist notice to their company along with a request for damages and legal costs to be paid in full by them.

Keep the message polite but firm. It does not hurt to mention that you appreciate that they may have been previously unaware that the company is hosting duplicate content, but the existence of such is damaging to you and your personal corporate earnings.

I'm sorry to hear that, Michael.  I had one stolen a while back but it was easy to correct.  One email and it was gone.

I do think it is important to pursue these thieves.  Thisisoli had some good thoughts that might work.  We can also hope that the new google push will help us all out here.

    Good luck!

I thought once I sent the DCMA it would be taken care of also. At the time I only had the article copied once there. After the DCMA...like they were spitting in my face...it was copied again (same article) on two more url's on the site.

And Rootzoo is the same site that filed a class action against Facebook over click fraud.
