Hey there fellow hubbinites. I've posted another hub and I am hoping to get some feedback from some of the hub greats.
My biggest challenge in all this is remaining consistent while I work a full time job, a part time job, raise a family, take care of my parents, blah blah blah...I know I am not alone.
So, you understand my plight and my need for feedback. The more critical the better. Come on, you will not hurt my feelings. I have a very thick skin and I can take punches as well as return them :-).
Take a look at my newest hub about 'finding my voice' and start slinging those judgmental jabs in my direction. All voices are welcome!
Your hub looks good. But I have some comments if you do not mind
1. Search the keywords before writing. You can use Google Adword tool to do that, I see you use but it may not correct: choose [exact] not [board] keyword, it has a good hub about keyword, you can search to learn more .
So the title may be change to Find Voice in Writing or ...."Voice in writing"
2. Divide more paragraph, I mean sub topics, each sub topic have a sub title, it makes your article look pro and people do not tire to read.
3. After that, promotion, get back links, this is hard and boring works but it is " Content is King, Links Are Queen", without it you can not make more money.
Good luck, you can learn some ways to get back links to your hubs at my hubs also.
You're a wonderful writer, Kellysgirl.
On the technical side of things, ditch that first picture (or move it down further into the hub) and let the AdSense ad fall in that first spot. It's one of the most prime pieces of ad real estate on the page.
Split your text up into several text capsules. Use subheads or pictures or anything to break up the large chunk of text. It tends to intimidate readers.
Use more tags. You have three very general ones. You should aim for 10 to 15, with a mixture of general tags and more specialized tags.
From a writing perspective, it was a very interesting read and gave me some insight into who you are, but that's it. There was nothing informative or educational about it. It was just -- interesting. If you're here to do some feel-good writing, you're off to a good start. If you want to make money while you're doing it, you have a long way to go I'm afraid.
Hub-wise, break your writing into segments with headers (meaning separate text capsules) that readers can use as a map to your piece.
We ask a lot of readers when we write so that they have to plow through hundreds of words of text in this Internet immediate gratification environment with no map of our points, and when we do that, we lose them. Internet writing is the genre of the quick fix; however, if you engage readers with a topical map that makes sense to them, the likelihood that they read all your words is there.
HupPages offers a brilliant format for guiding readers through complex writings without snapping their attention spans. Take advantage of the capsule features on HP, starting with breaking down your text about finding your voice through writing, which is both a magical and paradoxical subject.
I concur great piece of writing. As with all art, it is most difficult or near impossible to do part time. There is always the conflict. The solution is to work part-time in a block like a month on and a month off, or only part of the year.
Yea good luck in finding that. The other solution is to sell hands but not your mind which mean menial automatic work like a janitor so that your mind can
create even when working. But if present job is equal to writing, then great job in demonstrating the conflict.

I am preparing my 100th hub, and for that I want to review 100 hubs written by other Hubbers. Please post links to hubs - your own or those of others - that you would want me to include. One link per post, please. I intend to review only one hub for each Hubber.

I'm here to read and share fiction. I'm looking for the same sort of people, especially if they are interested in giving and receiving constructive feedback. Thanks.-Chris

Do you find feedback given to rate your hubs helpful? Not comments, but the feedback readers check off to rate your hub. What feedback do you receive the most between "voted up or down", "useful," "funny," "awesome," beautiful," and...

I put this in the "answers" section and it actually should've been posted here. Many of us may be not performing to our fullest potential because we haven't taken a critical eye to each others' content. I would like to offer you some constructive criticism. If you have a hub or...

When googling something are you looking for short easy to read or long very explained answers?I'm confused. We are encouraged to write very long hubs. However I have always been the one when googling something to look for the shortest easiest (but of course understandable) answer. To me google is...
