I was just wondering why my hub score increases even if it is still unpublished.  Some are already in the 60's before I even publish them.  Why is it like that?  I'm sure there are lots of factors affecting the score but shouldn't the scores be in part due to how other hubbers see my hub?

I don't get this either and often wondered the same thing.

I try not to think about it and just write but it keeps bugging me.

I have wondered about that myself. I have two unpublished hubs. One is currently at 56, the other at 64. I also wonder, if it says there have been a couple of page views over the last day or two on an unpublished hub, does that mean a moderator has viewed it?

All hubs start off at 50. If you write them one day, they will start to rise anyway, published or not. Some dip a bit, even after publication to 48 or so, then rise again.

Kept unpublished, they rise and rise, and then drop.

Then you publish them. Some rise further even up to 90 odds, but when the views drop, they drop.

No idea what it is all about, so no point in worrying smile

Hubscore seems to not be based only on that hub.

Hubscores behave as if they are somewhat linked.  As my average hubscore when up my unpublished hubs also got higher scores.
