Regarding GoogleAdSense account

   I have pasted the code in my earnings box and it is showing that the AdSense account is active then why I don't have any ads on my hub. I am confused. Is something remaining which I have to fix then kindly help me out. I completely depend upon you.

      Shampa  It is true that you have absolutely no ads on your hubs, you should write to Team@hubpages.com and tell them about this. Whether you are approved or not, ads are there on all hubs .. I am rather stunned.

         Thanks Sofs! According to your suggestion I contacted the Hubpages team and they suggested that in my hub, the ad level setting is set at "none" as I was not aware of all such factors. I'am really thankful to you, as now, I 've fixed it and ads are now displaying on my hubs. Still, I've questions:
         
         I've set the ad level at high, is it right to do so or should I set it on any other level?
         
         Should I apply for the hubpages ad programme now or I should wait for some more time?
         
         Will hubpages ad be really beneficial?

            Yeah, set ad level at  high,  go ahead and make Hubpages ad program active, you have nothing to lose and much  to gain.  There is no need to wait any further , though earning may take time to show up

               Could you please tell me where I can adjust the ad level setting? Sorry for being so ignorant, but my Adsense earnings seem to have stopped recently..

                  Ad levels are set to high by default, and can be reduced one hub at a time. In editing mode, there are some tabs on the right-hand side. Choose "settings," and you can adjust the ad level, provided you must first uncheck the box to show that the hub is not considered commercial. In practice, this means you should have no commercial outbound links from that hub.

                     Thanks for the answer. My next question is about Hub Ads (or whatever it is called). I have disabled all Hub Ads for fearing that it will affect my Adsense Ads. I think it is better to focus on one, but not two. Am I correct?

                        Charlinex, you are welcome. There have been some extensive, inclusive threads about this. Many have reported that AdSense goes down, but some say that HP ads more than make up for it; others have disabled them again. Experiences differ so much among hubbers that maybe the only conclusion is that each person should feel free to experiment, compare.

                           WE, thanks again. This is what I think. I will wait until I get a payout from Adsense, then  experiment Hub Ads. Otherwise, Adsense may not reach its payout for a long time.

            Most hubs are set to "high" - that is the normal position.
            
            You can either turn on the HPad program or not - you might want to wait a while to see what Adsense does first as the two are interrelated.  Or just go for it and turn it on - most hubbers seem to find it advantageous to have it.

   Yes. Whether account approved or not ads appear on the hubs. Must be some glitch. As sofs said you may contact Hubpages team.

   I am new here..there is so much to learn, I tried on hub before but I didn't really understand how the capsules. I opened a Google Adsense acct. months back and never really did anything with it because my problems publishing here had me stymied .Sooo I'm hoping I haven't hurt my self by doing tha.t

      Welcome to Hubpages .. your adsense account is never hurt by inactivity . It is easy to write a hub.. write about something that you truly enjoy.
      The capsules are easy to handle too..

            The ads are on automatically,  if you do not associate your adsense id with hubpages account ,  hubpages gets 100% earning, if not you get sixty percent of adsense revenue  from your hubs.  Since you have an adsense account already  link it to you HubPages account. You can also benefit from the Hubpages ad program if you opt in.

               I applied for it but had not activated it, It had been so long and I couldn't find my old e-mail. I resubmitted so I guess It will be about a week before I hear from them. I went ahead this past HOUR..lol and now have an Amazon Acct...sheesh. Do  they just pop up where ever? Or do I have to manually put them in these "capsules"?

                     You have to choose appropriate Amazons product and put them on your hub. Use the Amazon capsules, use a keyword to select the product or manually select and put the product in.  Glad that you have got things working in the right direction.

      Just paste the link or click on the product get the product id and paste it. Make sure that you have specific products chosen and not keywords when you are trying to put in specifically chosen products. I hope this helps

      There is no code for you to paste into hubs, it doesn't work that way.

            You need to read and follow the instructions in the Learning Center, a link to which is provided at the buttom of this page. Also, you can click on "Help" and search for AdSense.

      There are always ads on hubs, whether people have an active AdSense account or not. If the AdSense account information under affiliate settings shows "active," then you have an active AdSense account, and your affiliate ID will appear on 60% of the page impressions.

            Correct. But your AdSense affiliate ID has to be recorded in Affiliate Settings under My Account, and the status must show "active." The rest happens automatically.
