Can we PLEASE stop pretending now that they care one whit for America?
And can you PLEASE stop telling us what great Americans the Koch-Su*kers are!
It's about as clear as the cellulite on Rove and Rush's butt.
Nothing is fair in love, war and capitalism!
That covers it.

Just for a lark, I added up the quarterly profits of Shell, Mobile, and BP, then divided the number by 90 days. The results? $271 million per day in profit. That's not gross revenue, and it's no typo, you read it right - $271 million per day for these 3. I may do it again and add Marathon and any others I can think of just out of curiosity.
OH M G...you'd laugh hysterically if it wasn't so ENRAGING!
THESE are the people that seniors and the rest of us have to "sacrifice" for!
It's just incredible.
I'd pinch myself, but I know this is real.
Here's my thing, even the sheeple don't like high gas prices so why can't we start an Egypt style boycott? I still refuse to use BP. One week or month it will be one company, soon it will have to hurt enough tho get them to do something, then another company will have to follow because when the price drops you know human nature people will bail out of the boycott to save a nickel because we don't stick together anymore, that's why were in the mess were in now.
But how do you know you aren't using BP?
If the petrol supply line is anything like it is in this country, and I can't imagine it is much different, they all cross supply anyway.
Company A will supply company Bs outlets if closer, and company B will supply company As outlets.
I've heard that before...a lot actually---stop supporting the system and it will die.
I'm just too hooked in. And I know it.
We might be forced off, then we will see.
You're right, but I don't pull into a BP station. Makes me feel better that way
John is right. Despite not wanting to buy someones gas or oil, you have no choice. When the barges comein they do not fill seperate tanks, It all goes into one. Then the companies come with their trucks and all take from the same storage tank.
Every day I hear a Wall St Journal report on the radio while commuting and even though demand is down the price of oil is rising or staying the same. There is always some bs reason, only once I heard "speculators". Maybe they are more involved than reported.

Actually boycotting a companies retail locations has to effect them because they are not moving product no matter where they get that product from.If a company is not making sales don't they usually lower prices?

Is nobody going to call Peter Schiff on his "I pay 50% tax" crap?Recently, Peter Schiff marched into OWS and confronted demonstrators, claiming that he pays 50% of his income to taxes. Unfortunately, the OWS folks did not respond intelligently (at least the ones I saw). They...

Do you feel that you are taxed too much? Are you for less taxes? Do you also feel that the government use taxes as a subterfuge for their oftentimes wasteful spending?

Would you support a flat 15% income tax?Would you support a flat 15% income tax in this country? Other than a personal deduction (possibly in the neighborhood of 25k per individual/50k per couple) there would be no deductions.

Should we "End the IRS Before It Ends Us"? Can you find one reason not to end the IRS?The book, End the IRS Before It Ends Us, is not about taxation. It is about liberty. Grover Norquist, the head of Americans for Tax Reform, shows how the IRS taxes not only our incomes but...
