I visited my Google earnings page today, and had a message reading as follows:
"Recommendations:
Add the +1 button to your pages. Adding the +1 button to your pages allows users to recommend your content to friends and contacts on Google search. As a result, you could get more and better qualified traffic."
This was followed at the other side of the screen by a button that said "get the code snippet."
Is this something we can even do here on HP???? If so, where would we place said code?
It's in the queue (and has been since it was announced a few weeks ago).
I was wondering, too--- but I really think it is for a whole site, or for you if you have your own site.
Someome will clarify, hopefully.
Adding the +1 button is something the engineers of HP has to add. The question is are they going to actually implement it? There have been a couple of threads talking about it already, however, so far there hasn't been a yes or no, either way from staff.
I think it has been added to the HubPages site-- can't remember where I saw this... Facebook? Maybe you can check it, Cagsil.
If you have external websites, blogs or such, then you might be able to add it to those.
Has anyone with their own blogs learned yet if it is worth adding it? I added it to two of mine and all I see is that it slows down the loading time of the page.
I've put it on my sites and I do believe it is worth it since it took me about 5 minutes to add it and people are actually +1-ing it. Too soon to see if it's brought in more or less traffic, though.
Hmmmm......
Well...I wouldn't want to slow down the page loading on HP--it is already about THE slowest-loading site of any I visit.
I've put the +1 button on all my sites. And all the other big rev share sites had added it. The staff were all excited about the rel=author tag, but they're being very quiet about the +1 button.

One of my articles on an HP niche site recently underwent the Premium Pro editing process. The editor decided to add about 800 words of her own research to supposedly "improve" my article. Personally, I hated the addition. I do not feel comfortable including other...

A simple question. About 100 pages or so are added to HP every day. Recently HP changed its mind, and allowed thousands of un-featured pages to be indexed. You can see the spikes in the stats in the image, but the stats dropped back to the 'normal' level. I recently added a lot of pages to my HP...

Several of my articles were moved from Healdove to YouMeMindBody. It appears that YouMeMindBody is still not added to Google authorised sites. I keep getting this message:"Your site isn’t ready to show adsThere are issues which need fixing before your site is ready to show ads... We couldn’t...

I know we are all here to make some money, but having 10 ads on a page slows down loading time to such an extent that readers just don't have the patience to wait for a page to load. So they click away without reading our pages. To prove my point that the very high number of ads is to...
