Really, May be its because of HPs latest trial on the subdomain thing.
But its working for me without even volunteering for that experiment.
How are you doing my friends, who has ventured into that pit? No reports or updates from the HQ, at least, you could post your experience. (I know, its early days, it will take another 3 years to peak?)
Percentage wise, my google traffic has tripled in the last two days. I'd hardly say its "over the roof" considering my rather small numbers but yes, mine is up too.
unfortunately I cannot share your good news- as mine has remained static- however I am genuinely happy to hear that you have had such good results
Thank you friends. Apparently, those who volunteered for the subdomain-shift, or HP who is experimenting with them on the current imbroglio, are not updating us on the results or the present bearing.
As for me.. my traffic is on level ground.. neither over the roof nor below sea level .. I am positive that it will move upward..
My traffic isn't great. But with only few hubs I should not expect too much.
I am one of the volunteers for subdomain but I never recieved any kind of communication from HP. HP did not contact me nor they made any changes to my URL. Hmm..I'm wondering if is because my account doesn't qualify for the test.
i would imagine they are trying only a very small amount over a trial period to see what the results are-
The only volunteer that I have heard of who was actually contacted was shifa - saleheensblog.
Mine is like CW1's, kk's, and sofs' - stable, no change, not really great, but not totally underwater.
I took a look at his profile and hubs. he has some nice articles. I also noticed he choose to have them displayed under "onlinereviews". i'm wondering if this subdomain name can count as a keyword or not.
I'm also wondering how is his traffic going....
There's something odd going on with saleheensblog's URL. How come onlinereviews.hubpages.com is directed to his profile? Was he an early test case, exploring keyword subdomain names, and now he gets the benefit of onlinereviews as a subdomain name, in addition to his account name, and I can't have "greatamericancooking" (for example) as well as "sallystrove"?
How does this work?
no my traffic is still down..I'm still hopeful for a recovery in the near future...
@SunSeven, mine has also gone up since the previous weekend. I'm still 100% hopeful of our bouncing back better than before, following the panda updates and efforts collectively put in place by the entire HubPages community.
My data has been slow to update, but based on other factors which I have been able to assay, it appears that traffic has begun to escalate.
So far, I've found almost a dozen of the new sub-domains. You won't see them unless you happen to click right on one, the URL still looks like the old address when you mouse over them.
It's just after the July 4th, you would expect traffic to bee rising right now.
This has been my first week on hp. I've had about 100 views between my 9 hubs. Is this good?
Welcome to HubPages community. It's good for a start, but you also need to write your hubs around searched keywords, very important!
well it's not over the roof but today its definitely higher.. crossing my fingers and hoping to not put a jinx on it..

Is anyone else getting traffic from this site?nativeapp.toutiao.comI am getting traffic from it but I am not sure what the site is or if it's a new search engine of some kind. I do know it has something to do with a Chinese application. So I am wondering if this is a good or bad thing.

A few weeks ago, I posted some thoughts on why traffic is falling for many writers and what we might do about it. One of the things I considered is that massive rewrites and fresh articles may be the ticket to clawing back on some of these traffic drops. Here is some more food for thought on that...

Hi! So I wrote this hub: Best Fidget Spinner Under $10, and tried to SEO it as much as I knew how to. But it's only on the third page of Google. What can I do to improve it's rank? Thanks in advance!
