I was wondering if anyone out there can point me in the direction of other sites where you can publish works to create backlinks to your hubs? It would be so helpful. Thank you so much.
We have some wonderful hubs that can help you. Try looking in the forums, googling your request.
What do I google or look for? I'm really really new to all of this. I sometimes struggle with the terminology. Since I wasn't sure what I was looking for, I couldn't initiate a search here or in google.
Oh, I am sorry....
Google is easy to use to find whatever you want... Just like you asked the question in this forum, you can ask it in the google search engine.
ex: "What websites allow you to write articles", or "Where can I post articles online", or "Are there websites like hubpages where I can write articles" or 'online article writing"
Any form of your question will help you locate what you are looking for....this will also give you practice using your search engine...
And, if you have to pay to submit an article...don't do it! Hope this helps
I didn't know you could ask questions like that. I always just typed in a keyword or two. Wow, I learned something new. Thanks for the help.
RitePad... Write a 100 word post there and get a backlink to your blog/hub. I have reviewed it here: http://ultimatehubber.hubpages.com/hub/RitePad
Thank you for another valuable link, Ultimate Hubber!
There are loads of them out there - try Excerpt.com, thisisfreelance, snipsly, xobba, ezine etc
Or set up your own blogger blog, if you write for a niche, and write shorter, original articles pointing back to your hub.
Thank you for your suggestions. I will check them out.
You can also try
1. Bukisa (adsense based)
2. Wikinut ( You can earn with increasing pageviews. I found many pages from this site, as I google search for casual things, and yes, I started writing and was amazed to receive some nice pageviews with nominal SEO I am receiving 25+ pageviews for 5 of my articles there, and most of them are republished ones, So you can have a try.
you can follow my referrel : http://www.wikinut.com/in/zfaei/
or simply : http://www.wikinut.com/
3. Also try Infobarrel
4. Squidoo - Keep this site in mind. You can earn 25$ per article per month from this site, so it's really cool, but poorly written stuffs will earn 0.00$ (nothing)
Lots of good info here. Thanks so much. I will definitely be checking out these websites as well.

Even taking into account Hubpages' share, with the amount of ads, shouldn't it be a multiple of views? I reckon, there should be about 6 impressions per article, but instead, there's only about .5 on average.
