What is best Adsense or Hub Ads

   I see a lot of discussions about earning from Adsense but I switch to HubPages ad program when it was launched back in April. Since then my Adsense revenu has dried up. I am earning with the HubPage Ad program but much less than the initial months. Which of the two are hubbers are using or both and which one produces the best revenue streams

      I'm using both right now.
      
      HP ads seems to be very consistent.  Adsense on the other hand is like a lottery, some clicks pay great and some don't.
      
      Overall though my earnings are about 50/50 between the two programs.
      
      One if the issues I face is that the technical content I write doesn't do well with Adsense in general since most of my readers are "ad blind".
      
      I've had good luck with Amazon and I'm looking forward to trying out the eBay program.
      
      I feel like the HP Ad program is like a hedge against Adsense earnings, if ones doing bad the other one picks up some slack.

         You are lucky, my adsense ads revenue is non existent, maybe as you say, most of my hubs are technical in nature.

      I find HP ads to be better than Adsense for me so far. I run both, however; most people insist that it is better when they are used in tandem.

      Since HP is designed specifically for Hubpages so I think that it will work better. But it is useless for me as Paypal don't pay in Pakistan

      I use both. My earnings from Hubpage ads are 5 times greater than my Adsense. I earn pennies from Amazon, but I don't have any product based hubs.

   I also use both.  Testing without HPads results in a good sized loss of income, so for the forseeable future I will continue with both.
   
   Yes, adsense dried up to near nothing, but the use of HPads doubles what adsense alone gave me.

   A mixture; Adsense pays for clicks while HubPages Ads pays for views, having both increases the changes that you will get something.....

   I only use Adsense. i have tried HP Ads a few times but my earnings went way down so I turned it off.

   HP is far better for me as a creative writer. No one clicks on ads for creative writing like poetry, for example.

   I'd say it depends on the hubs you write.
   If most of your hubs are bringing views but not clicks, go for HP Ads.
   
   Means if these users are just here to find information, once they found what they are looking for they'll be done and closes the window or something. These type of people has lower chance of clicking.
   
   The other type will be people who are looking for something to buy or maybe looking for product informations. These people tends to click on ads more than others. If so go for Adsense.
   
   Basically from statistics you should be able to see. If your CTR is pretty low, switch to HP ads to try out. Afterall your traffic is different from others, you will have to try out yourself to know what works better.

      This is great information and makes perfect sense. I don't have any hubs that tries to sell products, mostly tutorials on technology (programming). I should include some "sales" hubs to gauge the difference.

         That shows why you're earning more impressions that clicks which results in lower CTR. Hence HP ads works better for your case.

   With my hubs, it depends on what day of the week. I make most revenue on the weekends. Adsense lately on weekends has been double or more, where I may make more with HP Ads on weekdays.
   On the weekends, Adsense Ads are far more relevant to the hubs I have that receive the higher traffic. I am not satisfied with the Ads I see from HP Ads on a lot of my hubs. The target of these Ads need to be fine-tuned for the categories of hubs they appear on.
   EX-----If the reader is looking for a football article, they are not looking for Kroger Ads or Make-up!

      From what I reading, it really all depends on the type of content you are producing. Since as Vexez mentioned, HP ads are on PV and Adsense ads are based on clicks, so if you content is slanted towards selling merchandise, or product reviews, people are more likely to click on the ads on those pages, otherwise, with HP, it is important to have readers view your pages.

      Since my hubs are more technical in nature, I guess people view more during the work week as a reference, because my readership drops by half on the weekends.

   With the Panda fluctuations there simply has is not enough reliable test data available to decide which is best yet.  And of course some subjects may be more profitable than others with Hub Ads, depends who the ad buyers are.
