If I publish a Hub can I edit it later if I think of something to add?

I'm about to post my first Hub article! However, I was just wondering - if I publish it, and later on, I think of something better that I can add in or change, can I change it? Or does it become written in stone?
    Thank you!

Hi Cardia, you can edit it at any time by clicking the edit button from the my account tab on your home page.

You can edit any Hub, in fact it's always a good idea to go back and update older Hubs.  You can edit from your My Account page by clicking edit next to the Hub title, or by going to the Hub and clicking the edit button at the top.  However, Hubs that aren't finished should remain unpublished until they are finished.  Unfinished Hubs could be moderated if they are published.  Welcome to HubPages.  Check out our Learning Center for more information:  http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/contents

Yes! You can edit any of your hubs at any times. I do this often because it always seems like I'm forgetting something! Just click on the hub, select the edit button, and edit away.

Yes , that is the great thing about hubpages, you can add or takeaway anytime you like .
Do do a spell check first & have photos/pictures in your hub, hope it goes well !

I just published the article, but it's showing that it's 'missing summary'. Is this like the preview sentence? How can I put one in?

The summary box is over to the right hand side under 'edit'.

Be careful if you go back and edit hubs later on because if you change the paragraph which Google is using as the description you can lose you position in the rankings...especially if its a hub ranking high and receiving lots of traffic - Just be careful! Check where it is ranking first

Really? Are you sure? Not saying this isn't correct, just that it is news to me.

Of course, at the very least temporarily, because Google looks for the keywords to put in the description.. if he/she goes and deletes a keyword from the paragraph which Google has indexed, the next time it crawls the hub will be placed in a different ranking.

While in Edit mode ,look to the far right and just under the box that has capsules, videos, maps ,amazon du dah's etc , you will see a line of more options (its pale blue ,and hard to see)...one of them will say SUMMARY.

      Good luck smile
