PEOPLE - Is anyone noticing a pattern? From the beginnings of Bush, the invasion of Iraq and connecting Iraq and Al Queda, thinking that Iraq was involved in 9/11 all the way to today...with Bachmann calling for us to be more like China, less socialist...the pattern of conservatives over the last decade is a pattern of not knowing basic facts.

In this particular clip, the word socialist never came out. She didn't say we should be less socialist, just less of a welfare state. Your 'facts' don't seem to be in order. I agree, though, that Iraq did not directly attack us on 9/11, they only supplied the training grounds for those who did - Al Queda.
I believe that the people who piloted the planes received training in the USA!
Some did, however they were here doing so at schools who had no knowledge of their intentions nor their anti-American beliefs. I'd lay a wager on assuming the Iraqi regime could"nt lay claim to that same lack of knowledge.
Based upon what? That Murder She Wrote episode you watched last night? Ridiculous.
The Iraqi regime had nothing to do with 9/11. No training took place in Iraq, and Saddam Hussein had no role to play in anything leading up to the attacks.
Perhaps some here still have a little Bushie Brain-Washing going on...
The Project for the New American Century was the only thing working to make sure Iraq was attacked, it is their failed master plan for the Middle East that has cost us so much in terms of money and people in a war that should not have happened...
Even nearly every Bush official at the executive level as come out admitting that Iraq had nothing to do with it, except for Cheney. But seriously...is there a soul on the planet who thinks Cheney isn't the slimiest guy walking around? I don't know anyone who buys anything he says, and I live in Texas. We elected Perry 3 times...not the most enlightened bunch.
SEE! This is ANOTHER example. NO, Iraq had absolutely not a single part in 9/11, provided absolutely not a shred of training, nor did training occur on their soil. In fact, if you read the manifesto put out by Al Queda the day after the attack, they explain they went at us because THEY felt THEY should have fought against Iraq during Desert Storm. The idiocy is astounding. How many years later and people still think this crap? DUDE! Put forth some effort in understanding what is and has happened. You'd "wager"? Based upon what?! It is fundamentally incorrect, and you are fundamentally lazy for not giving even the slight effort it takes to pay attention to something so basic, so many years later.
At some point, don't you people think that it is important to actually understand the basics? Don't you think that this world is more important, that our country's future is more important than just picking a team and cheering, apologizing for any gaffe? Seriously, don't you have a little more concern for your kids than to just whimsically make your decisions and support based upon a childish grasp of the facts, just so you can sheer your team? This isn't football dude. It is a tad more important than that.
Actuallly, DUDE, surf's up. I pay a lot of attention and have been doing so for more years than you've been alive. The Al Queda manifesto is not exactly a reliable source, nor do I consider the Huffington Post a reliable source. Why do you think Al Queda would attack us for them having made a wrong decision during Desert Storm?
Really? Are you 5? You'll buy your "gut", despite facts and despite the explanation of the people who actually did it? This is nutty. After all of these years, you still think "your gut" means more than countless investigations huh? Iraq was a socialist dictatorship, the only in the region. They were not a fundamentalist Islamic Republic. Everyone over there hated Iraq, particularly because if you were a terrorist, they killed you...not because of your ideology, but because they didn't want a power threat. Al Queda wasn't in Iraq until 2003, when our involvement brought them there. Where in the world were you over the last decade? This isn't mysterious knowledge.
The claimed they attacked us because we fought for the "holy land" (i.e. Saudi Arabia), that our feet, the feet of the infidel stepped on the holy soil (I know, ridiculous, but still), during the fight against Iraq during the first war in the early 90s. They felt, very publicly, that the Mujahadeen, which was who they were at the time, should have fought for the holy land against Iraq. Do you pay attention at all to the politics over there? It plays a key role in understanding, you know.
If a guy goes and kills someone, leaves a note telling why, do you feel that you should ignore the note? Are we children? They publicly talk about this over there Couture. It isn't secret knowledge. Even the BBC covers it. A little more effort means something sir. It ALSO is quite necessary to understand the basic facts involved, and those facts kind of mean something when making policy decisions. Again, do you just want to cheer your team or does this country actually matter to you?
I have to say that Bachmann has the cajones to finally admit that she is a supporter of communism. That's right, I said it--everyone is thinking it! She is saying let's be like China, a centralized socialist government. She is not saying china should be less socialist...she is saying we should be as socialist as China...and we should, god forbid, take care of the people in the United States. Make sure everyone has a hot meal and job. Forget market forces. Forget capitalism. Forget a democratic government...let's be like China. Hey Tea Party caucus...still want Bachmann to be your leader? LOL. A Republican Communist sympathizer...HA HA. I never thought I would see the day.

Why is it so easy to say "I Love You" to friends, but harder to family and your significant other? It's funny, but I can say "I Love You" so easily to friends, but when it comes to family and the person I'm seeing. I can't seem to open my mouth and say it. Anyone have an idea of...
