Ok it seems like writing about certain topics here tend to generate more traffic than writing about other. So for those that have been here for a while, what topic generates the most traffic for you?
When someone with a very low Hub score asks theses sorts of questions, I can't help but feel that they are trying to benefit from copying the people who are doing well, be that directly or indirectly.
It appears to me they gear towards good selling products and get the jump on holidays that are coming up. Or they gear toward recipes and family matters.
Rednuckle: To being with it is really not a Topic. First, it is a niche, such as golf. Now you have microniches which could be golf courses, golf lessons, golf shoes, etc. To find a good niche takes time and investigating. You need a list of keywords. Find out who is and how many are searching them. What are people paying for those keywords. Who is your competition. Is your competition for keywords too high? What is the value of your niche. One place to get a daily view of what people are searching for is Google Trends. Why are you writing? Is it for affiliate marketing, or for another reason? Now, you use the various article submission sites, and the results are different for each site. One site with travel articles may do well, but you may not do well with gadget articles there. Then you need to know your target audience, who are you writing for? There is a lot involved. But some of the popular areas are DIY projects, weight loss, natural products. Sometimes it is seasonal for holidays, gift ideas etc. There is no simple one answer.
...but be very careful when writing alcohol related hubs. There are many HP and AdSense restrictions to doing so.
It depends, you simply need a keyword with low competition and high traffic. I personally have a lot of success with video games.

What do you think...

Even before the Google changes, I never really saw very much traffic to my travel hubs, so I didn't write any more travel hubs. Because of this, I stopped writing altogether... because I LOVE writing about travel. What are some types of travel hubs I could write that would attract an audience?
