Judgement By Man/Woman!

   I am a christian and sometimes feel that everytime I turn around I have been judged by another Christian! I belieave that we are of a sinnful nature and that the bible says that "no sin is greater than the other or lessere than the other" A sin is a sin! I am wondering what others think about being judged by others and if they fell they the other person has the right to judge!

      I would be far more concerned with the judgement of God than with other people judging me.  The one you really have to please is Him.

      I feel I have no right to judge.  However, it is human nature to judge one another. Not just Christians judging everyone, but also atheists juding other atheists, hindus juding other hindus, atheists juding hindus, hindus judgin christians, etc.  It is part of who we are.  I personally do not want anyone to sit down and tell me what i am doing wrong and how bad of a person i am.  I know what I am doing wrong, and trust me i rather not have done it, but the past will not change, only the future i can change.
      The bible says do not pick the speck out of your neighbor's eye when you have a log in yours.  I have more than a log in my eye.  How can someone respect me if i critize them but have sin in my life.

      It is Original Sin - we were cast from the Garden of Eden because Adam and Eve acquired knowledge of "good" and "evil". Before that, they were in a state of grace. The only way for a human being to return to a state of grace is to relinquish all judgement.
      
      That does not mean laying open one's possessions to those who may steal them, any more than one would park on a hill without engaging the hand-brake. There is no judgement in engaging the hand-brake, and there need be no judgement in locking one's doors or keeping one's hand on one's wallet.
      
      Like the man rowing, who feels another boat collide with his, and is enraged, until he sees it is unoccupied, whereupon he calmly pushes it aside and continues on his way - we could treat every "boat" that collides with ours as though it is unoccupied, and we would then be at all times in a state of grace.

   All people judge, and expect to be judged--but not condemned.  People do the actions they do because they feel it's the right decision at the right time (if you are thinking of an example, and don't feel it was the right decision... then look harder--they did whatever they did for a good reason).
   
   Judgment is perfectly human, the issue is when you give forthright condemnation of another person's judgment with your own misunderstood judgment.  It gets circular and dizzying.
   
   So leave condemnation to God (or whoever you believe in), and just do your best to find the reason for why the person acted, said or did what they did.  They enacted that particular action, statement or otherwise for a good reason--once again, if you think it's wrong, keep looking for why they did what they did, or why they said what they said.  No one makes a decision for an inherently bad reason.

   Everyone has the right to judge people according to their behavior. If someone is a known thief, it is wise not to leave a ten dollar bill on the table in front of them. That is not an unfair judgement, it is just making a rational assesment of that person's character and taking the appropriate steps to avoid being wronged by that person. However, it is always wrong, in my opinion, to PRE-judge. People can change, and we should give them the benefit of a doubt, but we should still be wary of that person. That's just called being smart.
