Once you have been here for at least a month on up, you can partake. What is "Your" very best advice, most sincere, from what you have seen here, only one answer , you would  most definitely be sure and give to a new Hubber?

An interesting question you pose. You can be anyone on the Net, and you can be yourself here on HP. You can do it by making your identity real, or you can do it by assuming a false identity. Whichever, you do have a voice here. The interesting thing is that you will eventually be found out...whether you are real or just playing.

Be a friend in the community. Don't be so easily provoked that you have to identify enemies here. It's a waste of time. We're learning that when we lose a member of the community (as we have recently) the grief is surprisingly overwhelming.

And write with passion, about whatever makes you want to write.

And listen to Greek One. He's the bee's knees, even if he is a petrified statue.

"The phrase bee's knees seems to have evolved in 1920s America, along with 'the cat's pyjamas'. Other seemingly arbitrary terms of distinction from that era that have since died out include 'the snake's hips', 'the kipper's knickers' and 'the sardine's whiskers'."

Back in high school, ironically enough, I dated a woman who due to her poor hygienic practices, was known as "the kipper's knickers"

This is awesome , because that that magical word you used "Passion"
This is what bought me to this place ,I did not need a talk shop , wanted to be passionately moved as I move on. But it's sad when some one who was an asset in his way leaves. This is still the best I have seen so far , and as you say it needs to be protected.

You don't have to spend any time at all identifying your enemies around here. They just walk right up to you and identify themselves on your first day in town.

If you do that - write about things you truly love, then the only other thing you need to learn is basic on page search engine optimization, which is really pretty dang simple.

      1. Sky9106 profile image68

Journalism, break it down WD. for there is the journey that you take for yourself through life , and believe strongly in what you do , Stephanie Mills comes to mind.
And there is the journey society will put you in if you don't stand up for your self.  And don't forget if you are weak, Bob said: Many people will fight you down when you see Jah/God' light. So this is the Exodus , movement of God's people , cannot be stopped.
Would you say the life of Bob Marley was a form of journalism?
I am now going to look for "Rookery Spooner"  I need his journals.

My mom went for her final check up today and seeing that he is leaving soon to Grenada,  he asked her what would she like him to bring back. This is amazing , my mom has these corns , maybe bunions to you, lol he is the one who recommends these things for her. She told him to bring back some Iodine, the real ones the send to the islands.
You catch my drift. Now 91 year olds say the darnedest things.

Most important is to remember that although this is a great dating site, from time to time, people want to talk about writing and 'hubs' (whatever that is).

I find the best way to get these folks back on track is to simply ask what they are currently wearing, and if they like foreplay.

I agree with that, but I would add that the money is another number that you should try not to worry about too much at first. And your page views, which is the one I was mostly obsessed with. It is normal for your page views to surge when you first post a hub and then drop down. Just keep adding new ones, and in time the old ones may come back to life.

It is possible to join as whoever you want to be but if you are going to be a member for a long time this will eventually come to a dead end.
Do not be non judgemental is important; not everyone thinks or lives their lives like we do.

That I have to say is along the road to prosperity on here because we need to have everyone be themselves in the peace and harmony that this forum promises. Don't go where you don't need to and you will never get hurt going there.

Write content about subjects you like, do your keyword research and don't worry about the numbers that are displayed. Partake in the forums as much as you like but try to avoid the arguments and flame wars that go on, a good debate is fine but mindless circular arguments plague the forums.

Good content, meeting and talking to people and keyword research will get you a good following and maybe even make you a few dollars.

Just write about the things that interest you, that you care about. And make sure you don't write too much in one capsule! When I started, all my hubs were in one capsule, and it took long to fix it. When they are formatted like that, you can't easily add a picture, links, or Amazon. You don't have any space to do it. I have been given both good and bad advice in the forums, but everyone is pretty nice and truly tries to help. It really is a community.

You know me better than that. I am too new to the net to generate real traffic, yet. This is a great place to start for one who is new to the game. I believe if one is willing to do the work, and realize that hubs have a long shelf life, there can be significant financial return. I don't even have enough time to read many of the instructional hubs around here. I am probably losing money from ignorance all along the way.

I like this mixed media, interactive magazine format. If you want, you can just read all day for free. There are very few writers here who are not good at what they do. It reminds me of some of the best musicians that I have known. Austin Pettit never got picked up by a record label, but he can make a guitar tell you how to feel.

It's all good Sky9106. I have met you here. Your work, attitude and wisdom has been a joy. I have had to examine myself, and found myself lacking in comparison. You have saved me thousands in therapy costs.
