After refusing to play for Man City and ignoring there restrictions on traveling back to South America Carols Tevez is set to rejoin the club on Tuesday! What do you think about this?
Its a shame really, because I remember watching him in the 2006 World Cup and thought he was brilliant. I think Tevez has a bad team of advisors around him. That agent of his, Kia Joorabchian is a dodgy guy. I think after what he did against Bayern, it'll be hard for him to win back the fans. He'll sit out the rest of the season and end up in either Italy or South America next season.
He is still without doubt one of the best players in the world and it is disappointing to see him wasting away in such fashion. It hurts me to say it being a Manchester United fan but he needs to come back, the Premier League misses his talent. As far as I'm concerned what happened happened and both manager and player need to put it behind them. The truth is Mancini would rather see him rot in the reserves rather then render his services to another club unless of course they can cough up extortionate amounts of money. As good as Tevez is no one wants to pay £40 million for him. So what do City do? They won't sell him, they've been knocked out of the domestic Cups and the Champions league and they've got United breathing down their necks in the Championship race, not to mention a mouth watering tie in the Europa League final if they both get there. So wouldn't you give him another chance? Just imagine Aguero and Tevez up front, it would be magical. They do it for country so why cant they do it at club level. In my mind City would be stupid not to get him back in the team, not when they are months away from their first premier league title since forever. If he is willing to come back and train and put his shift in, then give the lad a chance. At the end of the day it will only benefit City.
Are they doing bad without Tevez. They have already scored more than they scored last season and a lot of matches still left. Tevez means trouble. You don't need that kind of distraction in your team. Leave him to rot. In a football club you do whatever your manager tells you to do. Tevez is too arrogant. I think ManU did the right thing to let him go even though he scored 25 that season if I can remember correctly.
Its not just refusing to play and taking unauthorised leave, its the fact that when he did return, he does so by criticising the manager. Its a shame, but he is messing up his career, but is too stupid to realise it. All it takes is an apology and all will be well, but he wont even do that.
If I was the manager, I wouldn't play him - The team is doing well enough without him. I would stick him in the reserves, and when he is ready to apologise to the fans, the team and the manager, he could be considered for the team again. But if it was me, Id be looking to offload him and just cut my losses. He doesn't want to play for city, is a petulant little s***, and is a disgrace to the game.
Whats tops it off the most as well is the fact that no one else will sign him, not because of his behavior but because he is demanding too much in wages!

I have been trying to analyse this topsy-turvy season in an attempt to establish whether teams have generally improved or if the top teams in particular are weaker. Certainly, financial constraints have limited the ability of most clubs to tempt others to sell their very best players and also...

Does anyone think Manchester city will become the new Chelsea and start dominating the Prem League?I'm not sure they will, they might break into the top 4, replacing Liverpool but the top teams already have solid foundations with Chelsea and Manchester United having an almost inpenetrable fixed...

He is as important to his team as anyone in the league right now and brings an element to the game that almost no other QB ever has.

The NY Yankees win their win against the Baltimore Orioles have finally taken over the AL East and are now a game ahead of the Boston Red Sox. Can the Yankees do it?
