So I am taking a few hubs from my entries in the Hub Patron of the Arts contest and moving a sample of one from each category to my own name domain (ex. one hub on poetry, one hub on my art, etc. etc.)
Can I copy and paste the HubPages comments into my own website to show under the story? I know this is a weird question but one I need answers too...
And I'm thinking of just leaving in the links to those hubbers that have already commented - maybe that way they can get some traffic too! A win win to me but I don't know if this OK to do - or not.
I don't want to get technical about this. If I left a comment on your hub and found it published elsewhere, I would be annoyed and contemplate filing a DMCA complaint against you. Doesn't seem appropriate to me to replicate a comment left for a sole, specific purpose.
I hadn't even thought of that. Perhaps if I contact the hubbers and let them know what I am doing and offer a backlink to their HubPage then it would be OK? I have one specific short story that I would love to leave the comments intact but if I unpublish here then the commentators and comments will be lost.
Exactly. If you contacted me in advance, I would gladly give my permission if the purpose seemed relevant.
Thanks, I wonder what HubPages feels about doing this?

What is the best way to increase comments and accolades received on a hub? What is the single best way to increase interest in your hubs? And what is the best way to increase the most obvious evidence of interest in your hubs - namely, comments and accolades received? After nearly 2 years on...

There are two newly discovered hubbers who have only posted raw translations by using online translating tool, what they did was merely copy and paste the results without doing any further modifications. From the comments they replied, you can tell they don't really understand much English. Even...

I was quite stunned a week or more ago when someone made a statement on one of my hubs that she had commented twice and I had snubbed her by not replying. Her comment had been particularly flattering, and probably because I've spent a lifetime being flattered by others only to find that they wanted...

I still think comments should be comments, not discussions, that is the purpose of a forum. Maybe it would be a good idea that every author has a forum automatically made in a widget on there profile page and the topics are always the title of the Hub. That way you can discuss it and always edit...

PROBLEM: Whenever I write a hub on a controversial subject, a number of people create new, fake hub accounts solely for the purpose of posting negative comments and feedback on my hubs and/or threatening me anonymously. These new hubbers have 0 (zero) hubs and no other activity, and they are never...

I am not looking to name names here as this happens quite a lot on Hubpages, but can someone please clarify whether or not it is against the rules for a Hubber to come to your hub, leave a comment and then include a link to one of their own hubs as a part of that comment. I know it says under each...
