After finally being approved by AdSense, I received an email from them stating that ads would be shown on my Mexican Salsa hub. But none of my other hubs show any ads. Also, when I write hubs my followers aren't being informed of them. What can I do to fix the problem? Thank you, Vespa Woolf
The only possible reason is that your followers have their HubPages notifications set up so they're not notified. Only they can fix that problem, not you.
Okay, thanks! I think some of my followers are as clueless as I am. : )
I see adverts on all your hubs. As long as you have your pub-ID linked here: https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affiliate/ adverts will display with your account ID for 60% of impressions.
Do you have just one channel set up for your salsa hub? That could be the problem. Channels don't decide where your adverts are displayed but they track them.
As for followers, how do you know they aren't receiving notifications? Some people have it set to email a daily digest with new hubs, so depends on their email settings.
Yes, my ID is on the earnings page so I guess I'm good to go! That's really helpful that you can see my ads. I don't understand your second paragraph, but will look into it. I'm still pretty ignorant on all the techology, but I've been educating myself with the Learning Center. One of my followers said he wasn't receiving notifications, but it could be that he has it turned off without realizing. He's a newbie, too. Thanks so much for your answer.
I see Google ads too. But they were not there when I checked them for you yesterday. It is helpful to reference such prior discussions.

I unchecked the commercial part of the settings. I don't know if that's what did it, but something changed overnight. I really appreciate everyone's help.
On individual hubs under "edit" and "settings", should the box "this hub may be considered commercial" be checked or unchecked?
Another question: when I google "vespawoolf" only the caramel and salsa hubs come up. Why not the other hubs?
This just means Google hasn't realised that your other hubs are published as yet.
You can use a free site like Pingler.com to ping them - it basically lets Search Engines know you have new, undiscovered content. Although most quality hubs get indexed within a few days at the most.
I checked, typing "site:vespawoolf.hubpages.com" into Google.
All of her hubs are apparently indexed.
That's very helpful, WryLilt. I didn't even know Pingler.com existed!
Sorry Website Examiner about two posts on a similar subject. I was desperate last night to get the ads working!
I understand, I was just linking them now if someone is interested to read the discussion. Ad serving may have taken awhile to begin even after the settings had been changed.
Thanks for all the help! I feel like a fish out of water, floundering helplessly and gasping for air.
After creating new hub, your followers will see it through the notification area. Again they can have it send to their email box.
Thank you, I really appreciate all the help.

Hi, I have been posting a series of hubs on Dog Care and Adoption topics. All my hubs are original and I type each character in it. I also got a decent number of Hubs(21) to begin with all with good content. But google has twice turned down my request for adsense Account. It says-" Thank you...

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still had concluded that my AdSense account has posed a significant risk. And I have no idea...

I've reviewed the instructions and have been declined again. I joined hubpages in January of 2013, and wrote 4 hubs. In the last few days I have written 6 more hubs. All of my hubs are featured and I have ten total. I hoped that 10 featured hubs would be enough. I am in the...

Thanks to ThatMommyBlogger for finding this site and bringing it up in another thread. I think it deserves its own thread to warn HP writers. It looks like a site called 2uidea-dot-com is taking newly published hubs and putting them up as their own at a rapid pace. It appears they have filled their...

I've written 9 hubs, all are featured, Including 2 "Hub of the Day" and one "Rising Star" but have just been refused a Google Adsense account for "insufficient content". All my hubs are over 1000 words....can anyone tell me where I am going wrong so I can correct...

Just curious, I usually am bombarded with e-mails telling me about new hubs. Yesterday, July 5th, I didn't receive one and traffic on my hub was strangely low. Anyone else experiencing this?
