What makes your particular holy book any truer than others?

   Without resorting to self referencing answers like "because god said so in my holy book" what makes your particular holy book/writings any truer than other holy books/writings?

      Those who consider books/writings as holy do err...for holiness belong to the man not the letters.
      
      But then again to them being holy is about outward appearances anyway, long mounful faces and attire...another proof  of their deception

   Their all true to the adherants there of. Each book is a religiously inspired, spiritual feelings, hallucinations and insanity. There was no TV to dull the senses, no beer to blur the vision. Just time to think and go crazy.

   I think, wherever you catch a glimpse of God is where you stop and decide you've found something holy. And then, you don't look any further. You'll never know if there is something profound and beautiful within another religion because religion is pretty territorial about God. Each one wants to think the idea belongs solely to them.

      Well, of course they do!  Sending searchers to another religion won't fill the collection plate and won't provide new supplicants in a few years.
      
      That would be like Ford advertising that GM makes as good a car as Ford does.  Ain't-a-gonna happen, whether true or not.
