I have posted one quality Hub and Adsense keeps rejecting it as "insufficient content." There are over 1500 words, 2 pictures, 7 keywords and a link. May I have an honest opinion, please?
I was accepted to the Adsense program using one of Google's Blogger blogs. I do not know if this helps with acceptance.
It really is safer to have about 10 hubs when you apply. But in my case, I got past the insufficient content issue after writing my 6th hub. The problem was, another rejection issue came in the way.
So, I highly suggest that you also consider reading the Google Adsense policies. Or you may opt reading some hubs on Getting Accepted in Google Adsense. This will ensure you get to be accepted in adsense program.
The prevailing guess is that you need about ten to be safe, but some get it with fewer.
Thanks so much! I just did 2 more, but I am waitng to publish until i take my own photos. Meanwhile, I am having fun with this new hobby of mine!
You only need one hub. You got the right idea of using your own photos though. I think Google may automatically reject hubs that have copyrighted photos or other copyrighted material on it.
i had ten hubs before I applied. It's better to have more hubs.
Agreed, I naively applied for Adsense straight after I joined (I was too excited) only to get rejected. Once I calmed down, I trawled through forum posts and discovered that you need at least ten before they'll accept you. So the more the better. Keep writing and good luck.
Hmm. Did this change recently? I applied and was accepted after only 1 hub (which wasn't even good). Granted that was 2 years ago...so maybe the rules really have changed...
Hm...My pics weren't copyrighted, but maybe they have a sorting process that involves pics used. Something to think about....
I just got rejected too. Although I applied after I published my 1st hub which I believe was what they required initially only to discover that later it's not enough through an e-mail. Now, I am going to work hard on publishing more hubs probably 10 or 11 more just to be on the safe side. Wish I'd seen this before I applied for Adsense.

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still had concluded that my AdSense account has posed a significant risk. And I have no idea...

How long did it take you to be accepted in Google Adsense?I had mine for almost 7 weeks. Just want to know, how fast (or slow) it took you to be approved in Adsense.

So I have been here for almost a month, and still am denied Google Adsense. Its odd, because I see people post how they only wrote one hub and were excepted. Others, in the same spot as me. The same message I receive is that I do not meet their criteria. Does anyone know why this may be, or what I...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...

I keep submitting my request to AdSense, which keeps denying me because of 'insufficient content,' but I have four substantial hubs published AND... ads ARE showing up on my hubs but I'm not being paid for them! Help!
