    No, I don't agree with the statement. If we are behind crushing our enemy, our time and energy will be wasted unnecessarily, rather we should prepare ourselves not to fall into their traps and should aim at achieving our goals no matter whatever obstacles we have to face.

    I prefer to make friends of my enemies.  I often wonder why we're always 'at war' with one another - not just on a global scale, but on a personal one as well.
