    Here's the Meat Loaf video:

    or

    Bruce Springsteen

Who does a better job stumping for their preferred candidate?

*Just read that Meat Loaf can't even vote. He's not registered!

Are we counting the booing of Madonna as an endorsement for Romney?

I saw that headline. What was it all about, Jax?

Just from the summary on the news, I didn't actually read/watch it. Apparently she said sometime in a concert to vote for Obama, and the crowd boo'd her. Booed her? Boo'ed her. That's it. tongue

Probably because she told people a while ago to vote for Romney. She is obviously just grand standing as usual.

She's not even a US citizen anymore. Renounced her citizenship.
        Good riddance, I say.

The Meat Loaf vid wouldn't play, but I love his music. I'm a big fan of Alabama and Randy Owen, too. There's only one Springsteen song I really like.

Oooohhhh...Big and Rich, too! I love those guys. My favorite B and R song is "Holy Water." It's about Kenny's sister being abused.

And the inevitable politicization of Obama's singing Al Green vs. Romney singing America the Beautiful.

Speaking of endorsement, one of the most traditonally liberal newspapers, The Des Moines Register, has endorsed Romney!  They haven't endorsed a Republican since 1972.

            Yes, they did.
And the Salt Lake City paper could not bring themselves to endorse "Utah's adopted son."
There are more than a few papers who endorsed Obama in 2008 who are endorsing Romney now.
But overall, Obama has more newspaper endorsements with a bigger overall readership.
Which means ... either something .... or nothing!

      Um. Ok.
In the lower left corner there's Minaj with Brit Spears (who as I recall is another Republican (?).

I like what Stephen Stills had to say in his endorsement. http://ultimateclassicrock.com/stephen- … ly-creepy/   There's also a link to his RS interview.

That great song from the 80's keeps going through my head, Everybody Wants To Rule the World/Tears For Fears.   A song about the quest for power.    Just for fun~  big_smile
